CITY SELECTIONS VIGNONI displayed plenty of promise when finishing second on his racecourse debut over 7f at Kempton last May and he confirmed his well-being with an encouraging effort over hurdles on his sole subsequent run in November. The unexposed four-year-old should have no problem returning to the level and he just gets the vote over Dark Flyer, who finished third at Wolverhampton recently. Depart A Minuit is another with valid form claims, while No Fear Lucy and T Maxie both merit market inspections.

PLAY SMARTER This represents a decent opportunity for VIGNONI, who shaped well when runner-up on his sole start for Henry Candy at Kempton last spring and he didn’t fare badly starting out for this yard over hurdles at Catterick in November. Depart A Minuit should be more streetwise following his recent Wolverhampton introduction and is next on the list ahead of newcomers T Maxie and No Fear Lucy.
