Letter from President

In an environment where business and regulatory pressures compound daily the Ohio Credit Union League remains a powerful advocacy voice and solutions partner for credit unions. Our top priorities continue to be helping members thrive and grow while realizing their vision of being the first choice in financial services for more Ohioans.

Advocacy that builds partnerships

In the League’s 89th year, we strengthened relationships with legislators and regulators at the state and federal levels, successfully deterring legislation that could negatively impact credit unions. These connections led to powerful new programs like the launch of financial incentive programs for homebuyers, demonstrating the commitment and determination of credit unions to improve the well-being of the people and communities they serve.

Connections that drive collaboration

Collaboration is important for growth, and the League prioritized opportunities for members to connect with each other. Meaningful engagement was evident at every level—from the Board and committees to conferences, networking, and the online Huddle community. Hundreds of Ohio credit union professionals came together to share valuable insights and expertise last year, leading to important solutions for a thriving Credit Union Movement.

Education and resources to build teams

The League presented a variety of quality education programs designed to hone essential business and leadership skills and prepare credit union professionals to better manage today’s marketplace demands and develop tomorrow’s leaders. Our comprehensive suite of business tools and resources helped members efficiently navigate evolving regulations and make informed decisions that drive growth and success.

We are proud to serve as the premier partner and champion for Ohio credit unions. Thank you for your membership and commitment to working with the League on so many fronts. Your active involvement provides positive energy and momentum for an even stronger Ohio Credit Union Movement.
