COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS & PROCEDURES

The health and safety of our CSArts Academy community is of the utmost importance. CSArts Academy has always been firmly committed to excellence, and we remain committed to this ideal regardless of the model of instruction or any safety-related modifications to programming. Our plan to offer in-person instruction is based on current guidance from public health officials and state agencies, and we will continue to update our policies as data evolves.

In alignment with state guidance, CSArts Academy allows students and staff –regardless of vaccination status – a choice when it comes to masking on campus.

Here are some of the steps we have taken to proactively ensure the safety of all students and staff who participate in CSArts Academy in-person classes this summer:

• HVAC systems have been upgraded from MERV 8 to MERV 13 to provide a higher level of filtration.

• HEPA filters have been installed in each classroom to further filter and circulate air.

• Traditional drinking fountains have been replaced with hands-free water bottle filling stations (OCSA campus only).

Students and parents can expect to participate in the following safety protocols:

• Conduct an at-home self-health screening before arriving to campus each day. If students are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, or have tested positive for COVID-19 themselves, they should remain at home.

• Should students or their family members come into close contact with someone test positive for COVID-19, experience symptoms consistent with COVID-19, or test positive themselves for COVID-19 please complete this reporting form

All students and parents will be required to complete and sign a liability waiver and agreement to follow all safety protocols prior to completing registration.

We are confident in these safety measures and protocols, but it is going to take a concerted effort to keep our CSArts Academy community safe. Coming together and following these guidelines will help slow the spread of the disease, protect our participants and teachers, and support CSArts Academy’s ability to continue offering inperson instruction. Thank you in advance for your commitment to this important initiative.

If you have any remaining questions about CSArts Academy’s COVID-19 safety protocols and procedures, please email academy@csarts.net.
