Naming a space in the Labriola Innovation District is your chance to leave a legacy while supporting the future of entrepreneurship and innovation at Mines. Mines is launching an Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystem to prepare business-savvy innovators to flourish. Coupling this know-how with unsurpassed STEM education positions our graduates as tomorrow's leaders.
The E&I Ecosystem includes the Labriola Innovation District, which combines dynamic programming and leading-edge facilities to inspire student entrepreneurship and innovation.
At the District's heart: the Labriola Innovation Hub, where students can bring ideas to life. The InnoHub centralizes many campus makerspaces and adds:
• Specialized spaces for experimenting and learning through hands-on projects and iterative design
• Much-needed spaces to meet up, transform ideas and maybe even start a business venture
We envision every student using the InnoHub for class projects, clubs or just to advance their own ideas.

Running a high-demand enterprise like the Labriola Innovation District requires a flexible source of funding. The Labriola Innovation Fund gives Mines crucial resources to tackle facility maintenance, repair and upgrade equipment, replace shop supplies and create programming for student-led projects.
The Aramco xWorks Innovation Space is designed to enhance students' large-scale project-building experiences. The space lets students flow freely to the InnoHub next door, where they have room to collaborate on concepts, design and prototypes.
The Aramco xWorks Innovation Space provides dedicated research space and hands-on facilities for traditional and alternative engine research. New construction and lab upgrades allow students to operate and test large-scale equipment and engines for research about diesel engines, alternative fuels and advanced combustion strategies.
The lab has in-ground infrastructure and insulation to minimize the vibrations and noise caused by large-scale engines. These improvements maximize safety and effectiveness and reduce distractions for all students working in the space.
By funding an area of the Labriola Innovation District, you are not just putting a name on a space. You are honoring the Mines tradition of top-quality STEM education, giving present students a new set of tools and resources to translate what they learn into real businesses and providing endless possibilities for Mines to impact the global marketplace.
