How many partially completed products, books, and group coaching programs do you have sitting around on your computer?

If you’re like most entrepreneurs, the answer is a resounding “far too many!”

And frankly, the reason you have all of those incomplete books and programs isn’t because you don’t know your subject, or because you’re a poor writer, or even because you don’t have time. The real reason is because you’re overthinking the whole process.

You’re buying into the belief that you must: ·Create something from scratch ·Create something that looks just like every other program in your niche ·Create something so comprehensive and massive that it encompasses every aspect of your subject, from soup to nuts.

And every one of these beliefs is holding you back from creating the exact program your market is looking for—and it just happens to be something you can put together in an afternoon (or less) with the content you already have on hand.

By Charlotte Howard Collins We’ve all seen those old-style sales pages filled with yellow highlights and screaming red text and lots of “BUY NOW” buttons, and when we think of copywriting, that’s often what comes to mind. While that style of sales page can be effective, it’s not the only way to make sales.

In fact, by taking a more subtle approach, you might even find that you generate more interest—and potentially more sales.

Stories Sell One effective way to entice readers to click through to your sales page is with stories. These can be your stories or those of other people, with the goal of helping your readers to see themselves in the same situation.

Did you help a client turn her chaotic household into a calm oasis with better organizational skills? Her story on your sales page will get more clicks than all the yellow highlight you can buy. What about that time you trashed your entire business plan and started over because you simply weren’t passionate about your work? Your potential business coaching clients will be anxious to learn more, and will click through without you even asking.

That’s the power of stories, and you can use them everywhere: in your blog posts, in your emails, on your sales pages, and even in videos and on social media.

Be Genuinely Helpful Want to build a reputation as the go-to person in your niche?

All it takes is to help people. Answer questions on social media, volunteer to speak to groups who need your advice, write blog posts that address the most common issues your readers face.

By volunteering your time and knowledge, you’ll attract a wide audience of potential customers who may need your services in the future.

Who will they turn to? That very helpful person who went out of her way to offer assistance in the past.

Now we’re not saying you have to give away all your time, but if you really want to show off your expertise, you can’t do better than a little volunteer work. Not only will you make an impression with the person you help. But chances are good she’ll share with her friends as well, further expanding your audience.

Of course this doesn’t mean that there is no place in your business for a strong call to action. “Click here to buy” and “Learn more right now” are still useful (and even necessary) on sales and opt-in pages. The key is to know when to make a subtle offer, and when to offer a bit more hand holding.

Lovely LaGuerre Interview It’s such an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. What was it like growing up?

I am beyond ecstatic and honored to be speaking to you today. I am grateful for this opportunity. Well, my story become me as I breathe in and out. My upbringing was everything to have someone believing in me and constantly reminding me that nothing is impossible that one word impossible has its own hidden secret (I’m Possible) for those who strive towards their goals with dedication.

This has been true from the beginning when I was a kid playing sports together or going on family vacations abroad.

Indeed, it wasn't just about winning but also how you carried yourself afterward as well. Yes, my mother was a positive influence in my life who's been by my side from the very beginning. A woman like my mother is why I am where I am today. I've always been driven, competitive and goal-oriented.

From the time I was a young kid, my decisions revolved around what would make me successful in life - from which sports to play with friends or how much homework should be done each night for schoolwork? The answer: "It depends." I set out on this journey called 'life' with an open mind because you never know where it will take us next, but one thing is certain; if there's something worth achieving, then nothing can stop someone who wants their handheld through that process until they reach the result!

How did you get to where you are today?

Where I am today is the result of believing in myself a lot of hard work, accepting failures, being consistent, overcoming my challenges, updating my goals, a supportive family, and a ton of time spent practicing. It's not just about putting in the hours at practice but also how much time you put into perfecting your craft, learning from mistakes and working on the areas of your game that need improvement.

That's what led me to where I am today as someone who is constantly striving to be better than I was before with a winning mindset. There's no such thing as ‘perfection” in anything we do, and that is what drives me day to day: the pursuit of excellence. Women are strong & powerful, beautiful creatures driven to achieve their goals without ever giving up on what they truly want because at the end the reward you will reap will all be worth the time and effort!

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

Have you heard the phrase "a winner is a loser who never gave up" yet? That's how I have approached everything in my life because if you are willing to work hard and be the best you can ever be, why would anyone prevent you from achieving your goals?

The challenges I have endured are nothing that I can't handle because it's not about how easy the path is but rather what lies at the end of that journey which is what we all want to reach: success. Being a woman and wanting to grow and be the best at something takes a lot of hard work and dedication and chasing your dreams doesn't wait for anyone. So why not start doing so today? YOU GOT THIS!

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in?

I am a Serial Entrepreneur and International Bestselling Author. A successful Commercial and Luxury Real Estate Agent. I am on a mission to help others turn their real estate investment dreams into a reality. I am the Founder of Pure Heavenly Hair, LLC a luxury beauty brand transforming, inspiring, and empowering women to unleash their beauty inside and out. Coaching women on their new business development on creating additional income streams.

My mission is to create positive change. I am not only someone who wants to help other women but people in general because that's the only way we can make this world a better place, by starting within each of our communities. I believe women in a business setting are constantly faced with new challenges every day, so why not continually overcome them? I want to help empower women today by showing them that it's okay to fail because failure is nothing but a very big lesson in disguise! Learning from mistakes should be something we encourage each other to do because it makes us stronger as a whole.

Why should someone work with you over the competition?

As a female entrepreneur one of my mantras is to collaborate over competition. I certainly don’t believe in comparing my work with others because each of us have our very own unique touch and approach in life and there is plenty of business to go around. The only person that I compete with is myself, so I had to learn to get out of my own way.

Be confident in your business establishment. My #1 satisfaction is to deliver excellent value to each of the customers and I hope that my inspiring messages and my products can make an impact in someone’s life.

I take great pride in my hair and beauty business and helping women develop their hidden successes and talents that lies within them and to share valuable information all in one place to deliver a top-notch experience to the women to unleash their beauty within. I strive to do better today than I did yesterday.

Yes, I don't believe that competition has any place in my business; there are too many other factors to keep me happily occupied when striving for success and sheer determination (which comes from within), motivation through hope rather than fear) commitment & dedication and championing one another.

These attributes and mindset alone can make all other differences irrelevant. The opportunities are endless. Let's just focus on what unites us rather than divides us. ARE YOU READY TO COLLABORATE! What’s your best piece of advice for women who desire to find success in their life?

Listen up, to all the beautiful women out there let no stereotype or society define you or deny you of your TRUTH. I know how it feels to be constantly fighting an uphill battle trying to be the best version of yourself to then being told that you're not good enough or smart enough. I’m here to tell you my friend that you got this with my full conviction, we were built to take on any project we want to pursue all you need is to BELIEVE IN YOURSELF! My advice to all the women that are pursuing their success is to discover that one thing that resonates with you, that you feel aligned with and take massive action towards that goal, be yourself, get creative, connect with likeminded individuals, do your research, due diligence, develop your capabilities and skillset to master your craft, stay focused and consistent, find a way to balance your founded success, family time, personal selfcare, most importantly do not compare your journey to someone else’s and YOU will be UNSTOPPABLE.

Remember, we are stronger than they think & I know that.

Simply trust the process, and have fun. Businesses by women can be very successful if we work together and collaborate. No one deserves more love & respect than YOU. Go ahead, unleash your potential, ambitions, lead with purpose, and never give up! Remember along the way to always BE KIND! Speaking of success, what does success mean to you?

Success. I ran after this word for quite a while, but never really achieved it until I was close to knowing what it actually meant.

Success is not just the accomplishment of a particular goal you’ve set for yourself to achieve, but it’s the art of finding solace and happiness in what you do. In order to achieve something, be it a goal or success, the primary step is to find out what it actually means. To find out what it means, and what it would take to achieve it. If you’re comfortable with what the stakes are, only then will you be able to proceed.

Don’t Let Negative Self-Talk Destroy Your Financial Future

“I hate budgets.”

“I’ll never be a 7-figure earner.”

“My market won’t pay premium prices.”

If you’ve ever heard these statements come out of your mouth —or even in your head—then you’re engaging in a damaging habit known as negative self-talk. By telling yourself these lies (and yes, they are lies) you’re reinforcing the beliefs that go along with them. What you visualize and believe is what becomes true.

Tell yourself that you’re not good with money, and you won’t be. Believe that budgets are horrible chores to be reviled, and you’ll resist creating one. Convince yourself that you can’t earn a 7-figure income, and you won’t. It’s not “the secret.” It’s a scientific fact. Known as a self-fulfilling prophecy, this kind of self-talk results in poor performance simply because we act as if it’s already true.

If you tell yourself that you’ll never be a 7-figure earner, you will not do the things that 7-figure business owners do. You won’t work to grow your mailing list (“No one reads my emails anyway”), you won’t increase your coaching rates (“It’s not like I’m some top-earning businesswoman”), and you won’t build a brand worthy of a 7-figure income (“A beautiful brand isn’t necessary at this income level”).

By contrast, if you act and think as if you already are a 7-figure earner, you’ll approach your business quite differently. Your confidence level will increase. You’ll present a very different brand to your prospective clients. You’ll go out of your way to connect with those who can and will afford to pay your higher rates.

How to Combat Negative Self Talk The first step toward changing your negative self-talk is to simply acknowledge that you do it. Tick a mental checkbox every time you catch yourself making negative statements, whether out loud or in your head.

Make a note of the ones that come up most often for you, and identify their origin if you can. For example, if your ex-husband continually berated you for your spending habits, chances are your “I’m no good with money” mantra can be laid right at his feet. It’s time to turn that thinking around. The next time you catch yourself saying “I’m no good with money,” take a minute to recall 5 instances where you were good with money.

Maybe you paid off your credit cards or saved for a house or built an emergency fund. Rephrase your self-talk to, “I used to be bad with money [if that’s true], but now I make smart choices to achieve my goals.”

Just as negative self-talk becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, so does positive self-talk. Reframe your thinking, and your business finances will certainly improve.
