This photographic series is our tribute to the power and vibrancy of Dragsters. We combined a washed out palette with a bright grade to draw attention to all the things we love about them: their colours, graphics, shapes, parachutes, extreme form and big engines.

What would the London Grand Prix look like? We blended high-octane CG racing with stylised graphical circuits and live action driver interviews to find out. The resulting film was one of the most effective F1 sponsorship activation campaigns ever.

This image of Tom Sneva’s 1984 Texaco Star was taken at the 2015 Indy 500. It is part of The Brickyard, our photographic series shot, graded and extensively retouched over Memorial Day weekend.

T Y PE- R DY N A M I C S Honda - Motion Graphics

This live-action film follows racing legend Gabriele Tarquini as he puts the third generation Honda Type R through its paces at Automotodrรณm Slovakia Ring. Our motion graphics combined a glitch treatment with a striking black, white and red colour palette to underline the drama and dynamism of the drive.

T H E 917

With this series we celebrated the long-awaited return of Porsche to the Le Mans 24 hour race, paying homage to their iconic 917. Framing a plain body against a white backdrop, these entirely CG images give full focus to the car’s effortlessly simple design.

This is the world’s first luxury compact SUV convertible and we were tasked with showcasing the new Evoque Convertible in its full groundbreaking glory. We created a set of studio lit CG stills using ghosted and skeletal treatments to highlight different features of the model’s compact roof technology.

Opening with an atmospheric photorealistic rain sequence, this film explains a number of features within the Evoque Convertible.

Beauty CG sequences are placed either side of a ghosted graphical exploration of the car’s packaging and safety features.

For this film we were tasked with exploring the multiple economy features of the Range Rover Evoque. We developed multiple stylised treatments combining photoreal CG with motion graphics, including a ghosted exterior to help showcase the efficiency of the four-cylinder Ingenium diesel engine.

Shooting on location at Millbrook Proving Ground, we demonstrated the versatility and capability of the Discovery sport in various challenging driving scenarios. Using a drone to collect cinematic aerial shots, the live action footage was intercut with CG and tracked motion graphics to illustrate the innovative technology under the skin of the car.

LE MANS

We shot, directed and retouched this intimate set of images of the world’s oldest sports car endurance race. Taking in the crew, cars, drivers and spectators, this series is a snapshot of an intense 24 hours at the Grand Prix of Endurance and Efficiency.

To provide a closer look at the Discovery Sport’s Ingenium engine ahead of the Geneva motor show, we created these images showcasing every component in intricate CG. Hand cut through the middle, the engine was dissected to give viewers an insight into its inner workings.

We developed this detailed series of digital assets for the launch of the new Discovery Sport at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. Demonstrating the compact SUV’s versatility, we constructed in pure CG various relatable sets of objects to occupy its loadspace.

When we were approached to create a film showcasing Silverstone’s exciting new track, we felt it was time to put the viewer well and truly in the driving seat.

Combining live-action footage with CGI and a striking graphical environment we created a first-person perspective circuit journey narrated by F1 world champions Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button.

The biggest challenge of the Discovery Vision Concept was not visualising a car that did not yet exist, but rather previewing Land Rover’s advanced technologies and research, some of which were still in development and had never been seen before in the automotive industry. We combined careful CG animation with motion graphics to create a faceted and futuristic reality that explored each of these cutting-edge technologies.

DREAM CAR INK Workshop - CGI, Retouch

Inspired by automotive posters of the 1980s, we developed this series to celebrate classic older models. Set within a virtual utilitarian testing facility, these fully CG images contrast vibrant colours and bodywork against an industrial backdrop to highlight each car’s unique design.

We decided that the best way to communicate to audiences the many packaging achievements within Land Rover’s new compact SUV was to take the car apart and then put it back together. This award-winning film uses beauty CGI to break down the individual dimensions, seating, loadspace and convenience features of the Discovery Sport.

We carefully developed this series of entirely CG assets to introduce Land Rover’s dynamic new design language and celebrate the New Age of Discovery. Debuted aboard the famed USS Intrepid and featured on the front page of the Telegraph’s motoring supplement, these digital assets proved essential to the launch Land Rover’s most significant concept car of the decade.

L AU N C H CO N T RO L Virgin Galactic - Animation

When Land Rover announced an exciting new partnership with Virgin Galactic, the world’s first commercial spaceline, we knew it would be a chance to boldly go where no man had gone before.

We developed this entirely CG teaser, inspired by a classic launch sequence, to celebrate the union of two global brands synonymous with exploration and adventure.

For the launch of the new F-Type at the LA motorshow, we created a surreal mountainous carbon CG environment in which to showcase the car’s advanced AWD technology. Key messages were further enhanced by carefully tracked UI graphics.

Starting with a photograph of the F-Type, we stripped the car back before precisely matching the CG drivetrain within. We then recomposited the ghosted body on top to create this striking image.

Continuing our plainbody series, we crafted the classic Jaguar D-Type in celebration of the 2015 Le Mans. Through meticulous CG the images showcase the groundbreaking innovations, including the iconic tailfin, that made this Jaguar the most technologically advanced racing car of its time.

XE CAMO

When motoring journalist Ken Gibson announced his retirement from the Sun, Jaguar wanted to send him off with an exclusive preview of their eagerly-anticipated XE, without giving too much away ahead of the XE’s public debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. Our CG camouflage wrap allowed audiences to see through to the XE’s advanced aluminium architecture while also celebrating its impressive body.

The Brickyard saw us take on America’s most famous automobile race - the Indy 500. This photographic series of sun-kissed Americana tells a story from beyond the circuit, as we explored the once bricked oval speedway from track to crowd.
