POSTCARD
Frank Ticheli’s Postcard serves as the inspiration for this “world tour.” Chang Su Koh’s Chirche for Wind Orchestra, Roma by Valerie Coleman and the seasonally pleasing Circa 1600 by Donald Grantham complete the Wind Ensemble’s musical journey.
The WCU Wind Ensemble is composed of 45 of the finest wind and percussion players at WCU. As a premier ensemble, the group represents WCU at conventions and performs in high schools throughout the region. Many new works have been commissioned by the Ensemble in recent years.
