Broadway Dreams Dance Camp

Lights up and let the show begin! Broadway Dreams Dance Camp is an exciting, high-energy camp for dancers ages 5–9 who love to perform. Campers will explore the foundations of theatre dance and jazz through upbeat choreography, expressive movement, and imaginative play in a fun and encouraging environment. Each day focuses on a different performance theme inspired by the magic of musical theatre. Alongside dancing, campers will take part in daily craft time, creating their own costume pieces to match the day’s theme—bringing creativity from the studio floor to the stage.

Throughout the week, dancers will build confidence, coordination, rhythm, and performance skills while learning how movement, music, and costumes work together to tell a story. The camp concludes with a lively end-of-week showcase, where campers will perform for family and friends wearing the costume pieces they created during the week. No prior dance experience required— just big energy, bright smiles, and a love for the spotlight!

*NOTE* Fitted dance attire, Tennis, Jazz or Ballet shoes permitted.

For the summer of 2026, the Rising Stars production will be The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition, a one-hour adaptation of The Wizard of Oz, specially tailored for elementary and middle school-aged actors. L. Frank Baum’s beloved story of a young girl’s adventure in a magical land has been entertaining audiences for over a century. Join Dorothy and her loyal companion Toto as they “Follow the Yellow Brick Road” through the Land of Oz, determined to reach the Emerald City, where the great and powerful Wizard of Oz will help them get home. Of course, along the way, Dorothy encounters witches (both good and bad), Munchkins, talking trees and winged monkeys. But most importantly, she befriends three unique characters: a Scarecrow with no brain, a Tin Man with no heart, and a Lion with no “nerve.” Their journey to happiness – and self-awareness – is a glowing testament to friendship, understanding and hope in a world filled with both beauty and ugliness.
