CBA is pleased to present the upcoming candidates' forum for the Second Judicial District Court. DEPARTMENT 10 Judge Elliott Sattler has been the presiding judge in Department 10 since 2013. He has participated as a judge or attorney in over 100 jury trials. Judge Sattler received the highest average score of all General Jurisdiction Judges twice in the 2018 & 2020 WCBA surveys, and his retention rate in 2020 was 97%. The Reno personal injury law firm of Kathleen A. Sigurdson represents injured people, both those hurt on the job and those injured through the neglect of others. Kathleen was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 1998 and the State Bar of Arizona in 1999.
DEPARTMENT 11 Paige Dollinger currently serves as Washoe County's juvenile delinquency court master. In this role, she has presided over more than 8,000 hearings. Prior to her appointment as a court master, Paige worked for more than a decade as a deputy public defender, and for four years as a deputy district attorney in Washoe County. Greg Shannon was a deputy district attorney for Washoe County for 25 years, with substantial experience in child support, child protection, and civil litigation. He was chief deputy of the child protection team. Greg has been a fulltime family court master for nearly six years, primarily hearing child support cases but experienced in all aspects of family court.
DEPARTMENT 13 Judge Bridget Robb is a 4th generation Nevadan. She attended the University of Nevada and received her juris doctorate, cum laude, from Santa Clara University. Judge Robb has been elected twice to Department 13 and has served as the Family Division Presiding Judge for most of the last five years. Aaron Bushur practices primarily family law in all Northern Nevada courts. Aaron operates his own office and is the sole employee. Aaron is married with three sons and has resided in the area in excess of twenty years since leaving the military. Aaron intends to bring much needed change to the Department.
