Update on Minor Skins

Halcyon – Skin Lesion Dashboard Access

Everyone who requires Halcyon access has been activated. All Minor Skin claims should show in your Skin Lesion Dashboard. This will include “Status” of each referral (screenshot attached).

Please note – if you are a GPSI who works across multiple practices, your referrals are linked to each practice separately via your PMS log in with that practice. Therefore, you will only see the referrals for the place you are currently logged in. You must be logged in with the same username/on the same PMS that the claim was made in order to access it. If you cannot see your Dashboard, please check you are logged in on your own account, as only those authorised with access can view claims.

If you need support to access your Skin Lesion Dashboard, please reach out asap to let us know, our team can provide education, support and troubleshooting on this.

Invoicing – Halcyon Close off & Monthly Payment Run

All invoicing is now automatically generated via Halcyon. No manual invoicing will be accepted, please do not email any manual invoices as this will cause a delay in processing other aspects of the Skin Lesions claims.

Halcyon auto-closes on the final day of each month. Claims are paid on a monthly cycle – all claims included up to final day of the month are paid in the following months payment run. (e.g. all claims up to 28th February will be paid on 23rd March. Any claims from 1st March onwards will be paid on 23rd April). Due to the changover process - some payments may be delayed this month. We appreciate your patience with this, if you do not receive payment for a claim on 23rd March, it will be coming on 23rd April.

The best way to check the status of claims in Halcyon is by using your Claims Status Report (screenshot attached). If a payment is marked “Paid” then it has already been processed for payment. If it is “Pending” then it will be processed by the next month-end. If it is “Rejected” or “Requiring Review” you can see the reason clearly displayed from this report page.

Practice Training - New Process

If any practice staff require support in using the new Skin Lesion form, please reach out ASAP and let our team know. We can deliver online and in-person training out at practices to support this.
