This session aims to provide an overview of facial palsy, its causes, when and why to refer and the available treatment options for patients at different timepoints since developing facial weakness

• Learn the common causes of facial palsy
• Understand the treatment options available for Bell’s Palsy and the evidence behind these treatments
• Know when to refer and who to refer to for the management of persistent facial palsy
• Be aware of the treatment options available in secondary care for managing patients with facial palsy
