Position Title: School Health Nurse I am responsible for providing and supporting the development and delivery of free primary care health services within the secondary school environment with a focus on high needs students. I report to the School Based Health Services Lead.
The everyday mahi Includes: •
Provision of nursing services, general health education, advisory, liaison and co-ordination activities to the student population

Provide universal health, disability, and youth development checks (holistic/wellness centred approach which includes the HEEADSS assessment, screening of hearing vision, chronic illnesses, and symptoms of illness to the student population, with a focus on Māori, Pasifika and other high need students.

Assessment/treatment of symptomatic students, utilising ACC, where appropriate
