If we change our language, we change our thinking.

If we change our thinking, we change our practice.

Managing Equity and Performance • Accountability for improvement • Mechanism for tracking change • Awareness that measuring current situation doesn’t account for intergenerational issues which led to this point.

If we don’t measure inequity, we can’t monitor it.

If we’re not measuring and monitoring, we can’t drive performance forward.

This regulation requires that any quantity of class 6.1A or 6.1B hazardous substances be under the personal control of a certified handler, or a certified handler must be physically present to supervise their use and provide assistance if needed. These substances in general practice could include phenol solution and formalin at certain concentrations.

Where to get the training?

All team members require training to ensure they are skilled to detect, manage and report child abuse as per the Children’s Act 2014.

In-house training is also acceptable provided it is conducted by a clinical team member who has attended the recommended training, or an external provider who is suitably qualified or competent.

PM Meetings 2022 Format of meetings 2022 At the last 2021 meeting we polled participants on how format of meetings should look in 2022. Summarised outcomes were:  Every 5 weeks  Wednesdays preferred (unless 1st month, 20th also not great) especially when short week  Mix of online & face to face format  1.5hrs maximum sessions (even if face-to-face)  Training sessions/ focused topics should be standalone, too much info if included in PM Meetings  Would be useful to develop educational calendar for the year  Suggestion of speaker on environmental business solutions
