Dear GPs and Practice Managers 2019 PHO Forum Proposal (Amended) Please note highlighted changes below. To date PHO engagement with Practices has been mainly clinically focused with meeting participation by a core group of motivated GPs. The PHO hosts Practice Manager meetings on a five week rotation. These meetings are well attended but are focused around operational matters. Practice engagement in PHO planning and implementation activity is key to the success of the PHO and PHO programmes. We are keen to create opportunities for Practices to provide input into, and have influence in, PHO direction (clinical and non-clinical) on an on-going basis. The Board has recognised the value of Practice engagement and has approved a proposal for six funded PHO Forums in the 2019 calendar year. It is proposed that each meeting will have a headline topic presented for discussion and cover other items nominated by Practices and PHO staff around topics such as: ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
