We are rapidly making changes to the technology of the Covid-19 response to address the challenges posed by Omicron. The table represents the key technologies and the target dates for readiness (subject to operational approval).

Discussion points • Coordinating these many changes will require alignment across public health, contact tracing, testing, care in the community and the implementing entities to an unprecedented extent.

• We are working very closely with Northern Region and Whakarongorau to rapidly pilot and implement these changes • Expansion of assisted channels beyond Northern Region to a much greater scale will be required in parallel to support those without digital access.

• Public communication will be critical to support these self-service changes.

• Note the technology delivery schedule is increasingly firm with reducing opportunities to . change requirements. However, once live we can iterate and develop further.

• Feedback on timing or key functionality is welcome.

COVID-19 Care in the Community (CinC) Omicron Response The scope encompasses the patient journey across the new National Service Model for management of COVID-19 in the community to ensure consistency in model of care, approach and pricing across the country.
