This three-day workshop in the beautiful Coromandel (away from the stresses of everyday life) is designed to equip participants with skills to improve the quality of care they provide patients while nourishing their own resilience and well-being.
The workshop offers an experiential learning environment focusing on learning skills such as selfawareness to help assist with common challenges facing health care professionals.
Session themes include cultivating attentiveness, responding to errors, managing conflict, cultivating compassion, addressing work-related distress and working with intent. Teaching modalities include narrative medicine, appreciative inquiry and a variety of meditations.
The workshop is designed for health care professionals. No prior experience of mindfulness or meditation is required. The workshop is limited to 24 participants.
