Medtech32 Maternity & Immunisation Subsidy Updates (Effective 1 July 2018)

Immunisation Subsidy Updates Introduction This update increases all Immunisation administration subsidies from $23.59 to $24.15 (including GST).

Immunisation Subsidy Updates The Ministry of Health has advised that immunisation administration subsidies for childhood, influenza & all the other funded immunisations will increase from $23.59 to $24.15, effective from 1 July 2018.

This update will set the subsidy for all subsidised vaccines to $24.15 (including GST), with an effective date of 1 July 2018.

Maternity Subsidy Updates Maternity Subsidy Updates The Ministry of Health has advised Medtech that there is an 8.9 percent increase in fees for modules of care provided by Lead Maternity Carers (LMC), this fee increase is effective from 1st July 2018.

The subsidy increase has only occurred for the 28 services provided by Lead Maternity Carers (LMC). The subsidies for Maternity services provided by Non-Lead Maternity Carers, General Practitioners, Obstetricians and other providers have not changed.

The Ministry expects to action the fee increases in their payments system on 1 July 2018.

Claims made from that day on will automatically be paid the increased fees.

Installation Prerequisites Checklist 1.

Check the current installed Medtech32 version [HelpAbout Medtech32].

The practice must be on the following Medtech32 version:  Version 22.0 or later



2.

Users are not required to be logged out before running this release. However, users will need to log out and then login for these changes to take effect.



3.

Ensure you are logged onto Windows with Full Administrative rights when performing ANY installation, update, or maintenance tasks.



4.

You are logged onto the Medtech32 Server.



5.

Check that this document has been reviewed and understood.



Location of Installer 1. Visit our website at http://www.medtechglobal.com.

2. Select “New Zealand” in the region drop down menu (top right-hand side of the window).

3. Select the menu Support  Medtech32 Downloads. The New Zealand Medtech32 Downloads page will be displayed.

4. Locate the upgrade called Maternity & Immunisation Subsidy Updates (1 July 2018) in the list.

5. Download the installer “Maternity & Immunisation Subsidy Updates (1 July 2018) Installer (EXE)”.

Medtech32 Maternity & Immunisation Subsidy Update Installation 1. Ensure that you have completed and checked all the items in the Installation Prerequisites Checklist above.

2. Download the Maternity & Immunisation Subsidy Updates (1 July 2018) Installer as described above.

3. Double click on the EXE to start the installation process.

4. If any security warnings appear in your environment, select Run. 5. The installation process will begin.

6. Once the update is completed, the following message will be displayed.

7. Click on OK to close the installation screen.
