Service Guide Updates The most up-to-date point of information for PHO Service Guide updates is via the ‘Guide to Patient Services’ webpage. For anyone who maintains the paper copy of the Service Guides, please note the following Guide pages were updated in June 2021:

Email Comms: Kia ora Practice Managers, As discussed yesterday at the PM Meeting there are some updates coming to the LARC Programme Claiming Process. The set prices have come into effect as of today (1 July 2021) – please make sure July claims are in line with this for payment. • •

Please see the updated LARC Programme Guide. No service information (i.e. target population, eligibility criteria) has changed. Updated Claim Form – this has been developed and is going through practice testing before being shared widely; to make sure it’s fit-for-purpose at practice end. We expect to share this within the next week-two if initial practice feedback is positive.

In the meantime – you can either hold off on raising LARC July claims until the new form is shared, or you can continue to submit claims as per your usual process (invoice/manual form sent by email) and these will be processed for payment. We are working to transition to the new form, which we hope will remove some admin steps at practice & PHO end, and are happy to offer support to practices in this space.
