HOW TO: Password Protect a Document

Open your document & click on File.

The screen below opens - click Protect Document & the dropdown menu appears.

Now select Encrypt with Password.

Enter the password you have chossen into this box & the repeat when a second confirmation box appears.

The final step is to click Save OR click Save As & then Rename you document.

You will now only be able to open this document after putting the correct password into the pop up box.
