Acute Demand Cellulitis Bowel Screening LARC – Amendment to claiming Mental Health Extended consult
LARC We recently conducted an audit of LARC claiming and found a misunderstanding of claiming eligibility for Follow-up consults. Funding for follow-up claims is intended for patients who have experienced complications with a LARC procedure (hence the two-week timeframe). As a work-around and gentle reminder, the Halcyon form will have an added step for Follow-up consults as clinical notes will be required in the Notes section of the form. If it is left blank the form will be automatically rejected. As external factors are involved in any new form development or amendment Set estimated dates of go live are a little harder to predict, however the expected date of change for LARC will be early June.

Mental Health Extended Consults – We acknowledge that this is very tight turn around and would prefer to have a decent timeframe to allow practices to be set up before going live. Unfortunately, this is not possible for this form. Therefore, we will have admin on hand to manually enter (if required) and update claims with Invoice numbers for referrals/claims that correlate to the first two weeks of May. As per normal process for new forms, practices will have visibility and functionality over the claim’s forms – but Invoice numbers won’t generate without codes being set up.
