Pharmacists working in General Practice Survey
PCV13 Immunisation Schedule Change
•
Te Whatu Ora are developing options that would see more pharmacists working alongside primary health care teams in general practice. The RNZCGP and Pharmaceutical Society need help to better understand how pharmacists are working in a general practice setting. • A brief survey has been developed for practices currently working with pharmacists to complete, which will help inform ongoing discussions with Te Whatu Ora. The survey includes areas such as current roles, activities, and value of this working relationship. • If you have a pharmacist working in or with your practice and are happy to complete the survey, please send the email address of your key contact (GP or Practice manager) and the practice's name to Tom.Broadhead@rnzcgp.org.nz and a copy of the survey will be sent either in the first release (planned for 18 November) or a later release this year. • Please can you provide details of practices working with pharmacists and are happy to receive the survey by 26 November. Pharmac has made a change to the immunisation schedule. • •
