SAVE THE DATES COPD Focus Group Facilitated by Michelle Meyer, NP & Clinical Advisor Target audience: For those who have Completed COPD Workshops and are running COPD Programmes, and/or, any DR/Nurse Practitioner or Practice Nurse
A regular COPD Focus Group Meeting will be held through-out 2022, held on Thursday evenings from 6.00pm – 7.30pm. The venue for the first two focus group meetings 24/2 and 26/5 will be held at the Te Puke Community Health Centre, King and Commerce Lane, Te Puke. Venues for the August and November meetings will be advised at a later stage Please note that due to current COVID requirements around physical distancing, numbers will be limited to 12 attendees
The dates set down for the COPD focus group meetings are as follows: Thursday 24 February Thursday 26 May Thursday 25 August Thurs 24 November
The aims of these meetings are to: •
Identify and work through Practice challenges
•
Share knowledge between colleagues and practices - what is working well, Tips etc
•
Provide specific updates to help practices to continue to offer COPD programmes ✵
Topics are to be set by the group based on need
Snacks/nibbles will be available on the evening along with a Certificate of attendance Please note: An Individual flyer for each of these focus groups (along with registration forms) will be sent out prior to the scheduled focus group meetings Michelle Meyer NP and Clinical Advisor
The CME/CNE activity has been endorsed by The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) and has been approved for up to 1.5 CME credits for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) purposes.
