CKD & Hypertension Management This CME Education and teaching session will assist attendees to gain an understanding of CKD and the Management of Hypertension DATE:

At the end of this session attendees will have an understanding of: •
The role of optimal hypertension control in reducing progression of CKD

Basic strategies for prescribing anti-hypertensives in CKD patients
•
Common complications of CKD and how to manage them
•
The disproportionate impact poor CKD management currently has on Māori health and the potential for reducing Māori health inequities by improving CKD understanding and management in Māori patients
