Termination of Pregnancy – Lakes DHB Service TERMINATION OF PREGNANCY MEDICAL AND SURGICAL A new Termination of Pregnancy eReferral to Lakes DHB Termination service will be available on 26th July. This service is available for all patients living in Lakes DHB for Medical and Surgical terminations. The service also provides surgical terminations for Bay of Plenty DHB patients. The new eReferral will appear on the picker for all eReferral users in Lakes and BOP DHB. Key search words: TOP, Termination, Family Planning,

Who receives the referral?

The new referral will be received directly by Lakes DHB women’s health service administration. The referrals will NOT go via the referral centre and administrators will have the ability to electronically reply to your referral.

July 2018 Specialty Tab: TOP The referral includes the TOP tab that will support more informative referrals into the service.

MEDICAL TERMINATION OF PREGNANCY – BOP DHB PATIENTS Medical terminations for BOP DHB patients are still provided by Tauranga Family Planning.

SURGICAL TERMINATION OF PREGNANCY – BOP DHB PATIENTS Surgical termination of pregnancy services for BOP DHB residents are provided by Lakes DHB and this service is now available via eReferral. It will automatically appear in your pick list for your BOP DHB patients.
