Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity If you are an experienced System Administrator or see system administration as your next step, we have an opportunity for you based in sunny Tauranga! We currently have a vacancy for a Digital Systems Administrator to join our small Data and Digital Team based in central Tauranga. The primary function of the role will ensure that the compute and data networks that the WBOPPHO uses are reliable, secure and well maintained. This covers server and network hardware as well as the Office365 Desktop environment and other applications (e.g. MedTech - (Practice Management Systems used by WBOPPHO) and computer software used by the PHO. You will also be responsible for managing backup process such that the WBOPPHO is protected from security threats and hardware failure. This is both a technical and support role, with an important aspect of the role to provide support to our WBOPPHO staff in their use of technology. Sound Microsoft Windows Server management experience Ability to configure, and support Cisco data network infrastructure Good process documentation skills and methodical approach Excellent Office365 skills (both as a user and in configuring and managing the environment) MedTech32 support experience would be an advantage An agile approach, great can-do attitude, flexibility to change and open to new ideas Great communication skills Good organisation and prioritisation – ensure that the most important jobs are completed first.
