Te Whatu Ora has developed new resources that healthcare providers may find useful for raising awareness of COVID-19 antiviral medicines and responding to questions from patients or the public. Resources can be downloaded free from the Unite Against COVID-19 online resource toolkit and include: Posters for pharmacies that offer antivirals A flyer that RAT collection centres can distribute with RATs Posters for general practices A factsheet that can be provided to anyone with questions or an interest Pharmacies may start to get more questions about antivirals. If you don’t offer antivirals, a reminder to please use Healthpoint to identify the nearest pharmacy that does and provide the patient with that pharmacy’s information. A new public campaign encouraging people to have a safe-as summer was launched last week. Social media tiles, printable posters and other visuals can be accessed from the Unite Against COVID-19 website here. Te Whatu Ora would appreciate your support reminding people that reporting their RAT result on My Covid Record means they will receive confirmation of their result and access to information about support available. From 8 December, the public will no longer be able to request a new My Vaccine Pass, but they can still request their COVID-19 vaccination record and International Travel Vaccination Record. More information about this is on the Unite Against COVID-19 website.
