Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity Are you an awesome dietitian looking for a chance to develop your skills in the primary sector? This is an opportunity for you to bring your skills and experience to provide dietetic input to support providers within the WBOP PHO network. You will be working alongside another community dietitian within the Community Services team to deliver education in a variety of settings, including providing dietetic input to the WBOP PHO’s Self-Management Groups (Type II Diabetes Groups and Lifestyle Wellness Groups), education to other health professionals and supporting dietetic service provision in the primary sector. This is a welcoming environment with plenty of opportunity for growth and professional development. You will work in a flexible work environment and have the opportunity to work from home some days. Current NZ Dietitian Registration and Annual Practicing Certificate. NZ Drivers Licence. Ability to work well both independently and within a team. Confidence with public speaking and facilitation of group education. Proven time management skills. An understanding of Te Tiriti O Waitangi principles and health inequity in NZ.
