Care in the Community Systems – User Onboarding Below are the key steps for user training and onboarding across CCCM (aka BCMS) and NCTS to support Care in the Community in your region. 2
Identify individuals for key roles in the Coordination Hub Once your coordination hub is established, these are the steps for getting users trained and onboarded with system access. Key Roles
Responsibility
Approved Coordinator(s)
System ‘Approved Coordinators’ from each Hub will be responsible for coordinating new users. These individuals will submit the request for access to NCTS or CCCM (aka BCMS) to the NCTS Service Desk. NCTS system access for new users must be approved by the DHB and Hub. Should the NCTS Service Desk receive a user set up request from someone that is not an authorised approver, it will not be accepted. If your ‘Approved Coordinator’ has moved on, or you require an additional Approved Coordinator to be nominated, please submit the list of nominated approvers to NCTS.Servicedesk@health.govt.nz. In your request, please ensure you identify what system they will be an approved coordinator for e.g., NCTS and CCCM.
Attend Training
3
Users should attend a training and drop-in session(s) that is relevant to their role and the system(s) they will be allocated access to. Please refer to page 2 for a schedule of our current training and drop-in sessions.
Process once personnel are nominated 1. Understand User Role Required NCTS: If a user needs to view or edit the NCTS case, then they will also require access to NCTS. This is likely to be coordination Hub staff. CCCM: Community Care Providers will require CCCM access in order to access the case. In CCCM, users can manage clinical requirements and welfare needs to provide support to Cases isolating in the community.
2. User Training Completed
Attended a training and / or drop-in session for role and system access the user will be allocated.
3. Request User Access Complete the CCCM or NCTS new user template with details of all users requesting access. The approved coordinator must send this to Service Desk NCTS.Servicedesk@health.govt.nz. Please allow 2 working days for these accounts to be created.
