Your seven days starts from when symptoms of COVID-19 started showing, or from when you tested positive (whichever comes first).

Household contacts need to test for COVID-19 on days three and seven.

If you are isolating after testing positive for COVID-19, or after someone in your household has tested positive, āwhina (help) is available.

Reach out to friends and whānau to see if they can support you by dropping off essentials, such as food and medicine.

If you need welfare support while you are in isolation, contact the COVID19 welfare team between 8 am and 8 pm, seven days a week, on 0800 512 337.

You need to report your rapid COVID-19 test results, even if they are negative.

You can do this in two easy ways: 1. Report your results online through MyCovidRecord. Login to mycovidrecord.health.nz and follow the prompts. You can report results on behalf of someone else – you will need their full name and date of birth to do this.

2. Free phone 0800 222 478 and select option 3. Teams are available to help you report your results between 8 am and 8 pm, every day of the week.
