Opening Your Risk Register 1. Select file to Open
2. Double Click to open it in Microsoft Excel (MS Excel) 3. Data will dump into cell A1 with a Header row and patient rows below that
4. Select All columns by clicking on the arrow (in red circle) then resize columns by hovering mouse on the right side of column A to get a down arrow then double-click to auto-expand all columns.
5. Add filter to Header Row by left clicking in the row number [1] to select entire header row
6. Select Data ribbon above the file and left click the filter funnel
7. Row will now have arrows for you to filter/search with
8. Save As an MS Excel Workbook in the desired library / on Desktop
