Cases Reported by Supported Residential Facilities | Background To support those who are unable to upload positive RAT results themselves, certain Supported Residential Facilities may report multiple positive RAT results on behalf of individuals in their residences.

Supported Residential Facilities that may report positive RAT results on behalf of others include: • Aged Residential Care Facilities • Corrections Facilities • Recognised Seasonal Workers (RSE); and • Vulnerable Housing (e.g., transitional housing, boarding housing, mental health and drug and disability support housing) Facilities Public Health Units (PHUs) that receive a list of positive RAT results from Supported Residential Facilities will determine whether those identified meet the required criteria to have the National Investigation and Tracing Centre (NITC) conduct the RAT result upload process on their behalf.

Where they meet the required criteria, their information will be sent to NITC who will bulk uploaded the positive RAT results. This will create a Case Record on the NCTS for each RAT uploaded and a record in the CCCM. 2

Cases Reported by Supported Residential Facilities | Receive Information from NITC What does this mean for the COVID Health Hubs?

The COVID Health Hub will receive an email from NITC notifying them where a bulk upload of Cases who are Supported by Residential Facilities takes place. The email will include the following information:

The number of Cases that have been loaded from within the Hub’s region

2.

The specific ‘Room Number’ that has been applied to those Cases. The Room Number is unique to the specific Supported Residential Facility the Case is part of. They are as follows: • ‘ARC - Facility Name / Location’ – for Cases in ARCs • ‘DOC - Prison’ - for Cases in Corrections

• ‘HOUSING - Key Contact Person’ - for Cases in Vulnerable Housing • ‘RSE - Employer Company Name + Contact Person’ - for Cases in RSE worker residences 3. The clinical care provisions from the PHU and any other relevant information on the Case.

These Cases can be viewed through a Dashboard and Report on the National Contact Tracing Solution and from the COVID Clinical Care Module (CCCM).

Viewing Cases Reported by Supported Residential Facilities | View Cases in the NCTS Hubs can identify Cases supported by Residential Facilities for their Region from below Dashboard and Report. Where required, Cases can be escalated to a General Practice for further clinical care to be provided.

Access Cases Supported by Residential Facilities Dashboard: 1. The ‘Cases Supported by Residential Facilities’ dashboard can be used to identify Cases that have been loaded for your region.

2. Access the dashboard HERE or, Dashboards > All Dashboards > search CinC Hubs Operations Dashboards > scroll down to view All Cases Supported by Residential Facilities Dashboard 3. You can drill down into the data by selecting the Bars in the graph. This will lead you through to a report where further information can be identified.

Access Cases Supported by Residential Facilities Report: 1. The ‘Cases Supported by Residential Facilities’ report can be used to identify Cases that have been loaded for your region.

2. Access the report HERE or, Reports > All Reports > Case Supported by Residential Facilities > select the report to open 3. To identify the Cases that have been uploaded for your region: • Sort by Border Health Record Room Number or Contact Setting – Other 4. To view the Border Health Record, select the Border Health Record Number

Re-allocate to General Practice (only where required): There may be some instances where you are required to allocate a Case to General Practice to be placed on Active Management. To re-allocate a Case to General Practice: 1. Open the Cases Border Health Record (BHR) 2. Update the Room Number Field by selected the ‘Pen Icon’ 3. Type in the name of the General Practice the BHR should be allocated to.

4. Press Save 5. The record can be accessed through the COVID Clinical Care Module (CCCM) where further clinical care can be provided.

Viewing Cases Reported by Supported Residential Facilities | View Cases from the Dashboard in CCCM Cases reported by Supported Residential Facilities be identified from the COVID Clinical Care Module (CCCM) Dashboard.

Filter for Cases: 1. From the Dashboard, select the Search & Filter button.

Type in Allocation and Search: 1. Use the Allocation field to filter the Cases (CCCM Record) 2. Type in the Allocation you would like to filter by (this the Room Number field on NCTS) e.g., • ARC • DOC • HOUSING • RSE • This will bring up all the records in CCCM who have this allocation.

• Alternatively, if you would like to view a more specific record enter the full Room Number detail e.g. ‘HOUSING – Jane Doe’ or 'DOC – Prison A’.

3. Select Save & Filter to save your changes.

Access Case: 1. The Cases have been filtered by Allocation and can be identified from the Dashboard 2. To open the Case, select the Persons Full Name from the Names & Flags column.
