Welcome to West End Church of Christ, a restoration church founded in 1929. Each Sunday morning, our family opens its doors to be reminded that our value of Jesus is derived from the value of our brokenness. We are a broken people living in a broken world in need of a Savior.
Our vision: A Place To Belong We believe everyone, no matter their background, is created to belong to the kingdom of God.
Our values: diversity embracing unique differences and experiences strengthens our family
generational roots discipleship that builds on our past and for the sustainable future
grace in love how we treat one another especially in times of disagreement and conflict
personal bible study ownership through study and prayer of our own individual spiritual growth
Thank you for joining our family and know that there is a place for you here. Please let me know if I can help you in any way.

Our church is blessed to have a Visitation Team that meets the third Tuesday of each month. Jan Welden and Kris Thurman currently serve as the leads for this team. Each month, the team gathers to pray over the needs and concerns of our church family. Individual cards (similar to those outlined on this page) are distributed to ensure a visit or a note of encouragement is received from someone on the team. An open invitation is extended to anyone who would like to serve on the visitation team. This is a group exemplifying our church value of grace in love. You can e-mail Jan or Kris for more details.

The Religion of Islam: An Inside Look with Buck Dozier New Wednesday Night Class
beginning August 24th for Six Weeks 6:30 Community Room
The class will be a six week class on the basic tenants of one of the oldest religions in the world. Although it is a religion that has been around for centuries, Islam has come on the scene in dramatic ways, affecting Americans, but most especially Christians. The class will look at the history of Islam, its world view, its practices, the differences between the Bible and the Qur’an, Islam’s impact on other cultures as well as America’s society, how Christians are supposed to act toward Islam and its people, and more. Buck Dozier is a Nashville native, growing up in west Nashville. He graduated from Cohn High School and David Lipscomb College. He has been an elder at Madison Church of Christ for over 20 years and a Bible school teacher there for 30 plus years. Buck has had the privilege of working in all three institutions that God set up—home, the church, and government. He has been married for 47 years, has a son and daughter, and 4 grandchildren.
