Welcome to West End Church of Christ, a restoration church founded in 1929. Each Sunday morning, our family opens its doors to be reminded that our value of Jesus is derived from the value of our brokenness. We are a broken people living in a broken world in need of a Savior.

Our vision: A Place To Belong We believe everyone, no matter their background, is created to belong to the kingdom of God.

Our values: diversity embracing unique differences and experiences strengthens our family

generational roots discipleship that builds on our past and for the sustainable future

grace in love how we treat one another especially in times of disagreement and conflict

personal bible study ownership through study and prayer of our own individual spiritual growth

Thank you for joining our family and know that there is a place for you here. Please let me know if I can help you in any way.

COMMUNION DELIVERY February 14 – Wes Bender February 21 – Ken Dye February 28 – Chuck Whittle

Our church is blessed to have a Visitation Team that meets the third Tuesday of each month. Jan Welden and Kris Thurman currently serve as the leads for this team. Each month, the team gathers to pray over the needs and concerns of our church family. Individual cards (similar to those outlined on this page) are distributed to ensure a visit or a note of encouragement is received from someone on the team. An open invitation is extended to anyone who would like to serve on the visitation team. This is a group exemplifying our church value of grace in love. You can e-mail Jan or Kris for more details.

InsideOut p2, “opposites attract” Galatians 3:26-29 Questions to consider during our gathering this morning and throughout the week this week: 1. Love. Am I motivated to do for others as Christ has done for me, or am I giving in order to receive something in return? 2. Joy. Am I experiencing a joy of life on a regular basis, or is my happiness dependent on things going smoothly in my day? 3. Peace. Do I find myself frazzled by the crashing waves of turmoil in my life, or am I experiencing “the peace that passe s all comprehension” (Philippians 4:6-7)? 4. Patience. Am I easily set off when things go wrong or people irritate me, or am I able to keep a godly perspective in the face of life’s irritations? 5. Kindness. Is it my goal to serve others with kindness, or am I too focused on my own needs, desires or problems to let the goodness of God overflow to others? 6. Goodness. Does my life reflect the holiness of God, and do I desire to see others experience God at a deep level in their own lives? 7. Faithfulness. Are there areas of hypocrisy and indifference toward others in my life, or is my life characterized by faith in Christ and faithfulness to those around me? 8. Gentleness. Do I come across to others as brash and headstrong, or am I allowing the grace of God to flow through me to others? 9. Self-control. Are my fleshly desires controlling my life, or am I allowing the Spirit to direct me to the things that please God and serve others? 10. Walk by the Spirit. Am I actively depending on the Holy Spirit to guide me in God’s ways so I don’t get wrapped up in myself? If not, am I willing to confess to God that His ways are better than mine, and that I need the Spirit’s guidance to live above the fray?
