May you and your family be blessed on Thanksgiving and throughout the rest of the year.

Welcome to West End Church of Christ, a restoration church founded in 1929. Each Sunday morning, our family opens its doors to be reminded that our value of Jesus is derived from the value of our brokenness. We are a broken people living in a broken world in need of a Savior.

Our vision: A Place To Belong We believe everyone, no matter their background, is created to belong to the kingdom of God.

Our values: diversity embracing unique differences and experiences strengthens our family

generational roots discipleship that builds on our past and for the sustainable future

grace in love how we treat one another especially in times of disagreement and conflict

personal bible study ownership through study and prayer of our own individual spiritual growth

Thank you for joining our family and know that there is a place for you here. Please let me know if I can help you in any way.

COMMUNION DELIVERY November 22 – Chuck Whittle 29 – Neal Allison

Our church is blessed to have a Visitation Team that meets the third Tuesday of each month. Jan Welden and Kris Thurman currently serve as the leads for this team. Each month, the team gathers to pray over the needs and concerns of our church family. Individual cards (similar to those outlined on this page) are distributed to ensure a visit or a note of encouragement is received from someone on the team. An open invitation is extended to anyone who would like to serve on the visitation team. This is a group exemplifying our church value of grace in love. You can e-mail Jan or Kris for more details.

a place to belong p4 Ephesians 3:14-21 If you are visiting with us this morning, you are our honored guest. Our church is currently moving through Ephesians. As the series continues, our vision and values located on the front of this bulletin are more fully realized. Today, we will be taking a deep dive into Ephesians 2:1122. This passage reinforces our value of diversity. The message we need to hear about Jesus this morning is this: Christ Himself is our peace, he who has made very diverse individuals one and has destroyed all barriers to create in Himself one new humanity. To further reinforce our value of diversity, I want to encourage your personal participation in two unique opportunities: 1. Your unique, diverse presence is requested Interfaith Thanksgiving Service Tonight, 7:00pm The Temple: 5015 Harding Pike A great deal of work has been done to prepare a very special program for this evening. A significant hour of refreshments and fellowship will follow the service. Other than accepting the invitation to participate, there is nothing you need to bring or prepare. 2. Your unique, diverse perspective is requested One of our volunteer teams has been tasked with making future recommendations related to: 1. Our Sunday Morning Worship Gathering (10:00-11:00am) 2. Our Sunday Morning Classes (9:00-10:00am) This team has requested feedback from individuals currently attending (psst . . that’s you ;). Responses are anonymous and everyone is encouraged to submit your perspective online (via computer or mobile device): www.westendcoc.org/survey If you need help accessing a computer or mobile device or prefer to submit a paper response, contact the church office via the information below:
