Welcome to West End Church of Christ, a restoration church founded in 1929. Each Sunday morning, our family opens its doors to be reminded that our value of Jesus is derived from the value of our brokenness. We are a broken people living in a broken world in need of a Savior.

Our vision: A Place To Belong We believe everyone, no matter their background, is created to belong to the kingdom of God.

Our values: diversity embracing unique differences and experiences strengthens our family

generational roots discipleship that builds on our past and for the sustainable future

grace in love how we treat one another especially in times of disagreement and conflict

personal bible study ownership through study and prayer of our own individual spiritual growth

Thank you for joining our family and know that there is a place for you here. Please let me know if I can help you in any way.

Our church is blessed to have a Visitation Team that meets the third Tuesday of each month. Jan Welden and Kris Thurman currently serve as the leads for this team. Each month, the team gathers to pray over the needs and concerns of our church family. Individual cards (similar to those outlined on this page) are distributed to ensure a visit or a note of encouragement is received from someone on the team. An open invitation is extended to anyone who would like to serve on the visitation team. This is a group exemplifying our church value of grace in love. You can e-mail Jan or Kris for more details.

“Dedicated in Worship . . . ” Luke 4:5-8 God has blessed us with a very dynamic teaching team to kick off Q1 Adult Sunday School Classes. This team has been meeting and discussing different ways in which they can fuel our value of personal bible study. Whether you are a new member to our church, a first time guest or a long-time participant, there is not a better time to engage in Sunday Morning Bible Class at West End. As our adult teaching team prepares for our Q1 classes, they have had these clear measures of success as a foundation: 1. Strong biblical base 2. Ties to the current Sermon Series 3. Class numbers that foster deeper relationships between multiple generations As you are available and feel prompted, make plans to engage in one of the classes below for Q1 (Jan 17- March 27). Attend any class you like keeping in mind their success will depend on smaller class sizes and multiple generations. Jason/Leslie Larkins — 3rd floor, horizons classroom

(across from elevator)

Tom Seals — 3rd floor, agape classroom (next to elevator) John Crawford — 2nd floor, conference classroom Steve Parham — 2nd floor, community room Ken/Jane Dye — 2nd floor, parlor (visitors and new members) Tommy Daniels — 1st floor, fellowship hall (Next Right Step) Additional details will be sent out via e-mail this week and made available through the church office. People will be stationed on January 17 to help. Make sure to be here, on time, next week for Adult Sunday School.
