GENERATIONS OF NEW IDEAS
Each generation has brought new talent and fresh ways of working to Waterburyfrom the early days of mass production to the global sourcing and quality systems that became vitally important as the company began to expand.
Our customers inspire us to be creative and do things differently. Working with Copthorne Hotels, we were among the first to supply bathroom ‘pods’. In the 1980s, we started a continuous refurbishment programme for Trust House Forté, one of the largest hotel chains in Europe. We’re continually designing new, stylish ranges.
Waterbury is founded by Thomas Armstrong, a skilled craftsman of fine brassware. The company starts as it means to go on – focusing on design and using only the best quality materials.
1970’ s 1935
Andy Armstrong helps Waterbury develop new and exclusive designs. This, along with his investment into global sourcing and quality systems, sets us on the path to worldwide manufacture and supply.
2020’ s
An era of investing in technology begins. CGI enhances our design process, while a new generation of ArmstrongsAshlene, John Junior and Richardtake CGI, digital marketing and web development to a new level.
1940’ s
Thomas’s son, Philip, introduces batch production, electroplating and fabrication. We can now supply larger quantities of high quality chromium plated accessories to a wider market.
1980’ s
John Armstrong brings his considerable sales talent to Waterbury and we fulfil a contract to supply accessories to Birmingham’s 150-room Copthorne Hotel. Soon we’re asked to supply all of their hotels, at home and abroad.

Make your design your own - our huge choice of colours and finishes will fit perfectly with any colour scheme you choose. From Antique Copper to Traffic Light Red, we can finish any of our mirrors in durable PVD or match them to a RAL colour.
BESPOKE SIZES *
From small standalone mirrors to large wall-mounted vanity mirrors up to 1.9m x 1.2m, we can help you create stunning effects for your project, limited only by your space. Every project is unique, and our mirrors suit most applications, but if you need a different size, we can quickly assist. Many of our mirrors can also be customized with additional features for a more personalized touch.
CUSTOM ILLUMINATION
We can add illumination to most of our mirrors. LED lighting is activated using a single touch sensor switch and three standard light temperatures are available - ‘warm’ (3,000k), ‘natural’ (4,000k) and ‘daylight’ (6,000k).
For different lighting at different times of the day, you can choose all three in one mirror with the option to toggle through the modes, switching seamlessly between them. You can also add a dimming feature for complete control over your environment.
