World’s Best Workforce Annual Scorecard 2013 - 2014
INTRODUCTION The intent of the World’s Best Workforce (WBWF) is to ensure that every school district in the state is making strides to increase student academic performance. To achieve this goal, school districts must develop and implement a plan that addresses the following goals: (1) Kindergarten Readiness, (2) Grade 3 Literacy, (3) Achievement Gap Reduction, (4) College and Career Readiness and (5) Graduation from High School. We have added a sixth measure of MCA Overall Proficiency. School districts are required to annually report progress toward achieving these goals. The purpose of this report is to provide information about the strategies that were implemented and the progress made toward achieving the goals of the WBWF.
PART I: Achievement Data Summary - Progress toward achieving the world’s best work force outcome. I. Goal: To make yearly growth consistent with our district historical trends, while being consistent with comparable school districts.
