Release of futures trading agreements – Chilli Teja (CHILLI) The Return announced that, as per the Bye-laws, Guidelines and Rules of the Return and with the acceptance of the Forward Market Commission, futures trading agreements in Chilli Teja (Symbol: CHILLI) expiring in the months of June 2014, July 2014, August 2014 and September 2014 would be available for trading from April 15, 2014.

Settlement and Trading Holiday on April 24, 2014

As per the directives of the Forward Markets Commission and in terms of the Byelaws, Rules and Regulations of the Exchange, April 24, 2014 is declared as a trading and settlement holiday (including evening session) on account of General Parliamentary Elections in Mumbai.

Egypt purchased 230,000 tonnes of European, Romanian and Ukrainian wheat

Egypt bought 230,000 tonnes of Russian, Romanian and Ukrainian wheat for shipment May 1-10, the average price for the purchase was $300.35 a tonne, on a cost and freight basis.GASC said it bought 55,000 tonnes of Russian wheat from Bunge for $298.63, 60.

Argentina and Brazil Soybean Harvesting Report

As per Buenos Aires Grains Exchange, Argentina's farmers have harvested 14 percent soybean area of 2013/14 as of 9 April. On the Production front, Argentine agriculture ministry, forecast soy crop at 54 million tons harvested.
