Wayde Tardif

Wayde Tardif is a multidimensional leader in the field of Architecture, Master Planning and Urban Design, crafting design solutions at a variety of scales for clients around the world for more than 30 years. He is currently a Principal and International Sector Growth Leader at DLR Group, in Seattle, WA. He has led the design of projects in Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, the UAE, Canada, the USA & and Oman, supporting clients with clean, creative design solutions over a variety of project types and genres - Hospitality, Commercial, Office, Retail, Lifestyle, Cultural, Institutional, and Academic, including more than 150 tall buildings. In 2005, Wayde established the design firm POSIT Studio in Dubai, heading teams in the design of Retail-based Residential and Mixed-Use projects, urban design, and campus Master Planning. Prior to 2005, Wayde was the Project Director for the World Trade Center Residences in Dubai and was a Senior Designer for the winning design for the $8 Billion Dollar Sands Integrated Resort with Safdie Architects. Wayde has taught design, practicum, theory, drawing, graphic design, and photography classes at Wentworth Institute of Technology, the Boston Architectural College, the University of Tennessee, & Carleton University, and has been an invited critic at Yale, RISD, Northeastern, MIT, and Roger Williams College.
