We continue to expand education beyond the purely academic, so that we can encourage and equip our children—wherever their talents lie.

Through our Sports Academy, we take a child’s natural love of sports and teach them to play at their best with support and guidance from coaches. In 2022, our coaches taught and mentored 607 children—helping them not only improve their athletic skills, but also their character, so they can become leaders in whatever area God leads them.

Thanks to our dedicated coaches, and gifted athletes, as our kids have competed with teams throughout Uganda, they’ve used the opportunity to share their faith and their values with other athletes— and we couldn’t be prouder.

Our athletes are not only known for their talent, but also for their character which is rooted in faith.

One of these future leaders is Brandina, captain of our U15 girls’ basketball team. At only 12 years old, she helped lead the team to win the first FUBA Junior league championship. And although Brandina and the team are all incredibly talented, what we’re most
