INDIVIDUAL VOLUNTEERS Work alongside our Watoto Team. Visitors to Uganda have the option to volunteer their time and skills in various Watoto initiatives. Every volunteer has the unique opportunity to serve alongside the Watoto team in an experience that will change their life for the better. Watoto accepts short-term or long-term volunteers (with a minimum one month commitment). Volunteers are welcome to travel to Uganda at any time.

These trips are led by a Watoto Australia team member who will become your personal guide around Uganda and give you an extensive overview of the work of Watoto. SCHOOLIES TEAM Watoto Australia takes a group of schoolies to Africa to celebrate the end of their schooling years! You will be immersed in African culture, spend time with the children in the Watoto villages, tackle the white water rapids of the Nile River, experience a two night African safari and volunteer in one of our projects. LIVING HOPE TEAM We love our Living Hope women and we know you do too. This trip is an opportunity for you to serve them and be a part of a project that is empowering women in Uganda. You will spend time ministering and blessing our Living Hope women and experiencing other Watoto projects such as Baby Watoto, Watoto Neighbourhood and the Watoto Villages. 2W
MEDICAL TEAM If you are a counsellor, doctor, nurse, psychologist or someone experienced in pastoral care we invite you to be a part of a five day medical outreach through a pop-up medical centre in one of the local communities that Watoto works with in Uganda. We need your skills to help reach the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of the community.

SPORTS TEAM Are you a coach or skilled player of rugby, soccer, basketball, table tennis or volleyball? We want you on our Sports Team to help coach and run clinics at the Watoto Sports Academy. Sports are a unique way of teaching teamwork, discipline and motivation for children of all ages. Watoto have a number of naturally gifted sports stars who we would love your help to train and coach to get them to the next level. 2W
TRADIE TEAM Calling all carpenters, electricians, mechanics, brick layers, farmers, tailors, caterers and artists to join our Tradie Team! The Watoto students and team are keen to learn from you. During this trip you will share your unique skills with our Watoto students and team. Not only will you have the chance to see Watoto, but you can help build a sustainable future for Watoto through training and helping our students gain skills to improve their future. 2W
BABY WATOTO TEAM Raising a baby is hard work! Raising many babies is even harder work. This is why we are taking a team to Uganda to help our nannies in this very important role of raising these future leaders. As part of this team you will be an assistant to our hard-working nannies in their daily jobs. You will also get the opportunity to see the many other projects of Watoto. 2W
