2022 ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Theatrical Productions
The Waterville Opera House (WOH) produced four plays in 2022, including A Flea in Her Ear, Tuck Everlasting, Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap, and The Sound of Music, which sold out 4 of 6 performances and became WOH’s highest grossing theatre production of all time.

Live Performances
WOH presented a diverse and exciting range of live music, comedy, and variety acts, hosting a total of 19 live performances in 2022. Among the acts to take the WOH stage were Keb’ Mo’, Enter the Haggis, Lonestar, The Bacon Brothers, Tedeschi Trucks, the Glenn Miller Orchestra, and Whose Live Anyway?
Waterville Rocks
The annual Waterville Rocks outdoor summer music series returned with four concerts at Head of Falls in downtown Waterville. This fun, free program for all ages kicked off with Start Making Sense on the opening night of the Maine International Film Festival and included performances by Spencer and the Walrus, Albert Cummings, and Ballroom Thieves.
Youth Programming
For the first time since the pandemic began, WOH’s beloved Theatre Camp returned in August with Rumpelstiltskin. Presented in partnership with Missoula Children’s Theatre, the week-long theatre camp included auditions, rehearsals, and workshops and concluded with a fully realized performance that was attended by hundreds of community members. WOH’s popular school shows also returned in 2022 with Theatre at Monmouth’s As You Like It and Virginia Rep Children’s Theatre’s Emperor’s New Clothes
