I hope this email finds you well. Here are some reminders and updates about what is scheduled for the next few weeks:
• Message from Women’s Empowerment: The Women’s Empowerment Club is hosting a Winter Clothing Drive to support families in need this season. They are collecting gently used winter clothing for men, women, and children, which will be donated to Waterford Youth Services. Donation boxes are located in the first-floor lobby, first-floor office, and second-floor office. Items accepted include coats, hats, scarves, gloves, and other warm clothing.

o OLIO Dine Out and TRIVIA January 4! Back by popular demand! Bring your knowledge, your friends/family and a spirit of friendly competition. • Holiday Toy Give-a-Way: OIC of New London County will be distributing at least 700 toys for the holiday season on December 20. Please click on the flyer for more details: Holiday Toy Giveaway Flyer Design.jpeg
• Lost & Found: Is your child missing a shoe or a pair of pants or maybe a water bottle? If so, please have your child check our lost and found outside the Lancer Cafeteria. The number of items is growing, and we would like to get these belongings back to the rightful owners. Unclaimed items will be donated at the end of this year.
• December PAC Meeting Cancelled: Due to an unavoidable scheduling conflict, we will not be holding our Parents Advisory Coffee meeting in December. Our next PAC gathering will take place on Wednesday, January 28, from 7:30-8:30AM in the Library Reading Room. We look forward to welcoming parents for coffee and conversation with the WHS administrative team. We will share updates on the school year, preview upcoming events, and set aside time for your questions. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see you in January!
