Standard 4: Policies and Procedures

The Waterford school counseling program requires that regulations and procedures are in place, clearly defined, and communicated to stakeholders to ensure compliance with Board of Education policies and Administrative guidelines. They include the following:  Academic Course Placement/Requests  Add/Drop Procedures  Advanced Placement  Appointment with the school counselor  Child Abuse, Suicide Ideation, and Self‐Injurious Behavior  College Career Pathways  Confidentiality  Course/Schedule Changes  Credit Recovery  Crisis Response Team.  Early College Experience  Grading Expectations  Homebound Instruction  Maintenance of Student Records  New Student Registration  Outside Coursework Evaluation  Scientific Research Based Interventions (SRBI) Support
