My Invicta Corduba Enforcer ETA Valjoux 7750 watch contains a Sellita SW500 movement!!!! You may insert all the foul words you can think of to describe my mood right here.

At first I thought TWR swapped it and I've been corresponding with them all day about it. They insist they didn't change the movement and would have lost money on the repair if they had.

I feel like I'm losing my mind because I would swear I saw an ETA with my own eyes before sending it to TWR in spite of their insistence that they didn't swap it.

Thinking back on it I'm beginning to believe them. The rotor on all 7750's I've seen has a distinct shape and this one is shaped differently. And I've seen a lot of movements and watches since then so could be confusing with another.

If they are correct then that means the watch came new from Invicta with the SW500 because I bought it new from an online retailer.

Only if the rotor will swap between the 7750 and the SW500 would it lend credence that the ebauche was swapped during repair. I do not know if this is possible or not.

I know this isn't going to be any comfort to you but... When ETA needs more movements than they can produce they often go to Sellita and have them make some (SW500) for them. They are interchangeable and are virtually the same movement. Same parts just built in two different factories.

To some folks it really doesn't matter. To other it certainly does. One thing is for sure, Invicta (and others) SHOULD label the watch truthful... be it an ETA Valjoux 7750 or a Sellita SW500.

The truth will set you free... but sometimes it might piss you off first.

I see it,but they should have some type of disclosure like the example I posted from CW that it could be either or dependent on stock,something so simple ,you would think to cover their own butts to avoid the charges of deception by stating misinformation on the description.

You are right. And I like the SW500 movement. What's got me pissed is feeling like I've been deceived. If they had declared the watch to have the SW500 or even possibly both, as in the post above, I'd have no issue. But no, I've been thinking for months I was the proud owner of watches with real ETA movements in them only to find out we've all been lied to. To some people ETA adds value. So this just makes the questionable value of a lowly Invicta that much lower.

And I agree, truthful labeling and sales tactics would have avoided my disappointment. After all, they have no problem selling the SW500 watches and talking about them. So why NOT declare ALL of them as such, if that's what they are.

My head hurts.

And right now I don't even like cake.

The first one I bought I got over a year and a half ago. The last one six months ago. Curiousity got the better of me and I went and checked five other Invicta pieces and they were indeed V7750's. I also for the hell of it checked a

Hammy, A pirelli, and a Accutron and they of course were good.

Absolutely. I've seen it before but disclosure, like Mike says above, should be the rule, not the exception.

I had a Pro Diver FB0068 with an NH35A in it. Lo and behold when I went to replace it I can find nothing but NH25 autos, in the same model number watch. No disclosure but it's a $40 watch so who cares. This isn't SII or a cheap movement so to me, and I'd think some others, it matters. For the perceived prestige and the LOUD selling points of the talking heads on TV about the 7750, that's what should be in the watch. If not, they should say so.

I've already emailed Invicta, Ryan Johnson, and Evine CS. I got the Pro Diver from Evine so that's what involves them.

I'll have to see what floats to the top. Meanwhile, I'm teetering on the edge of swearing off of Invicta watches for life. I don't feel like I can trust a thing they or Evine's talking heads say about them. And that sucks.

Trying to not make an emotional decision here. It's just DAMN!!!

Dude...if this happened to me I'd box it up and travel 2 hrs to the HQ and get in front of Eyal...of course that's be and I tend to burn bridges that way....I actually napalm them at times. However, I know that's probably not feasible but HQ DEFINITELY needs to hear about it.

I've already emailed Invicta, Ryan Johnson, and Evine CS. I got the Pro Diver from Evine so that's what involves them.

I'll have to see what floats to the top. Meanwhile, I'm teetering on the edge of swearing off of Invicta watches for life. I don't feel like I can trust a thing they or Evine's talking heads say about them. And that sucks.

Trying to not make an emotional decision here. It's just DAMN!!!

But your post about the meteorite made me groan. I had thought about that myself at the time but long since forgotten about it. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) I don't see a way to verify the dial is real meteorite or not. Just another straw on the camels back.

Now if someone has a watch still under warranty & cracks open the case and finds the movement is not as advertised, would this be considered breach of contract?

Personally, I would have a qualified jeweler open the case, just for the sake of transparenc y and chain of custody.

Plus it creates a paper trail should the need arise.

These should be retro-fitted and given a new warranty, at the very least, imo.

This should all be documente d, and emails/scre en captures saved also.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Yeah but it's Sellita fuzz.

I didn't have to open this one, the case back is exhibition and big. It's easy to see the ETA logo and the 7750 on the plate.

They won't ever have to publically divulge it.. Not just the enforcer though. Many, many, many of their recent supposed V7750's are actually stamped SW500's. Good luck explaining this away. F them. I found four mislabeled out of the fourteen I own. Shameless and indefensible. Deserve to be investigated to be honest. They have been exposed for lot's of crap over the years, but this one is actually a harpoon to their heart. Can't get away with bait and switch, or weasel words this time. My guess is they will either make crap up or claim victim to their source. Glad I bought all these claimed V7750's at cut rate prices and I never sold any of mine falsely labeled. Class Action is all I can say. The good life may come tumbling down this time. I will gladly submit my phonies to the cause. They have been accused of a lot of crap ovet the years but this one is a sin that is beyond their usual weasel word crap. This one may b e criminal. Of course they will get out of it, but why should they.

I also opened my Enforcer after being informed by hkshooter of the issue. I too found an SW500 where a 7750 was supposed to be. I had mentioned to him when I first got it that the watch did not feel as smooth as my SAN-3 with a 7750. I just wrote it off as maybe being a different level of the same movement. This is total BS and we must stand together and do something to make sure this kind of deception stops. I personally am done with Invicta. I have taken all the issues over the years with a grain of salt, but this is beyond belief. How in the heck did they not think this would be discovered?

Aesthetically, the movements are identical and difficult to separate and the only significant difference is in the number of jewels. Sellita added a 26th jewel on the upper side of the barrel axis which sits just below the ratchet wheel. This jewel slightly reduces the friction associated with automatic winding. However, as the ETA movement has never had a problem of reliability in this regard, it is my view that this is most likely a marketing device used by Sellita to create some separation from the ETA movement although one could make a case for the small benefit in reliability the adjusted jewel height gives.

This isn't just one pissed off guy on an internet forum, this is thousands of people across the entire world.

I don't know for certain, Mike, because I do not own a single example of a 2824 Invicta. Would be interesting to have a few people check though. All of my SW200 Invicta's were actually marketed as such and I have no problem with them.

i agree, but that watch you have with a reserve logo second hand, was not sold or advertised as a reserve watch, was it? HK's WAS sold and advertised as a 7750, but was built with a SW500. The letter "C" in my Chevy Cruze logo on my car, may be the same "C" used in my Chevy Corvette, but Chevy didnt sell or advertise the Cruze as a Corvette. Im ok with that.

However, in HK's case, they put the Cruze engine in a Corvette body, and sold it to HK and others as a Corvette. That sucks.

I agree whole heartedly. I've been reading all morning about old blogs and forums that were very political and one sided that are no longer around today. They basically imploded under the weight of argument and personal grudges and I don't want this forum to duplicate that process.

Therefore I encourage the admin and staff to keep a close eye on this thread and shadow threads that may arise for the very thing Mike has voiced concerns about. If the comments are not pointed directly at the current issue, false advertising and marketing of the movements in Invicta watches, then the motive of the post may come into question.

The way I've been lead to understand it by talking to old, long time watch makers who were trained on swiss chrono movements years before I ever started collecting watches, is even if you open your watch and verify that it says ETA, there is a definite possibility that if the ETA factory was having a busy week and production numbers were starting to fall behind, a bunch of work would be sent over to Sellita for completion. So a movement labeled ETA could possibly be entirely built and regulated at Sellita and then sent back to ETA for sale and distribution, making your your ETA marked movement "technically" a Sellita.

I truly don't care one way or

the other. If any watch in my collection comes from either of those companies I'm totally fine and happy. In my mind there's no difference other than the name stamped in the steel!

Not saying Selittas are inferior to ETA's as they used to work in harmony, but that is besides any point being brought to light here. I still like my newly christened former V7750's pieces. just fine.

Still don't like being blatantly sold one thing as another thing even if the one thing is as good as the other thing. Call me crazy.

I don't think anyone is indignant over it, just feeling deceived. As you said, the Sellita movement is a fine movement, nobody disagrees with that. Some could spit hairs about how smooth the movements seem or how aesthetically pleasing one over the other is but the movements are comparable and most folks who care about such things know the history (at least anecdotally) of the relationship between ETA and Sellita.

The bottom line is the movement in the watch is NOT a 7750 in any flavor because it's not stamped 7750. The talking heads declare the movement to be an ETA 7750, ETA nor their logo is stamped onto the movement.

Along side your back of the mind theory is also the perception that having ETA stamped on the movement means something more than anything else. Perceived value in the market is swayed by such markings, no matter what company's name is stamped onto the case back and people, myself included, put weight on those markings when we are deciding on a purchase.

See it like this, if you see two identical watches for the exact same price, one has the ETA, the other has the Sellita, which one would you buy?

Good point DATD, I guess if you are purchasing with the possibility of resale in mind, you would want to purchase a watch who's movement is

stamped "ETA" so you could later use that as a selling point if you were selling to someone who might consider the ETA to be of higher value than the Sellita.

Since I never buy a watch with re-sale in mind (I always think I will be in love with the watch fore ever ever ) your point never crossed my mind, but I see your point and may have to adjust my thinking in the future.

The movements are the same but different. Just like the 2824 and SW200. I have had issues with the SW200, never had an issue the 2824.

Just the same, I have more confidence in the 7750, as it has been around much longer than the SW500. I am not alone, obviously, as the ETA Valjoux is held in higher regards throughout the watch community. That being stated, I would have bought the watches, at the prices I paid, with a Sellita or ETA, as long as it was truthfully stated. I hate being lied to, whether it was intentional or not.

As you quite obviously are showing and know many , many companies take a standard V7750 and modify it and label the movement as a different caliber. look at any Catalog of brands and they will usually in the review state what the base movement is and tell you the mods and then list the movement as they modded it.

I have been following the comments in this thread and I understand the specifics. I do not own any 7750's made by Invicta. But as I have read the complaints here I thought I should post an important point. At the prices I paid I would've gladly bought the watches in question if they were sold as SW500's.. I see Lee's point as possibly a way out, but not as acceptable to most consumers. It's like ordering Walleye fish at a restaurent, then finding out they were selling Tilapia instead. Both are in the same family of fish species and related and the taste is the same, yet it is wrong to use the practice. I use that analogy because here in Minnesota this was a big scandal and restaurents were forced to no longer mislabel said products. Full disclosure is a consumers friend.

I saw this movement on an episode of "How it's Made", and I believe it was this same model TAG. Anyway, the tooling used to assemble/manufacture different parts of the Cal. 16 was actually marked "7750". I wonder if that means the movements were being modified by ETA instead of TAG? Iirc, they assembled everything down to the dial and hands, and cased them up. If that is commonplace, it seems it would be very difficult for a company to confuse two movements that are of different manufacture.

I couldn't possibly know for sure but...

By the way if you want to check your watch without opening if you tilt the watch with the crown to the left and use a powerful loupe or headset magnifier, with the watch running look under the balance wheel and if is an ETA you will see their trademark that looks sort of like a clover with the ETA inside. The SW500 has what appears to be a stylized S, with sw500 in very small letters on the edge of the movement. I had to lay on my back and hold the watch above my head to see.

DD, I don't believe people think Sellita stepped in to make ETA movements. In actuality they are saying, correctly, that in lean times when ETA couldn't keep up they sent partial ebauches to Sellita for some parts or assembly. The base movement is still ETA and stamped as such even when Sellita worked on the movements.

If an ETA stamped movement needed warranty work ETA is still the company that would foot that bill regardless of if Sellita worked on the movement or not. It's backed

by ETA, period.

Except whether or not the two movements compare favorably isn't the issue.

I've defended Invicta in the past. On multiple issues. I won't any longer. And it's not because my mind has changed on the earlier points, but rather because after this, they no longer deserve it.

I would not like it if I purchased a Ferrari and got it home to find a Fiat engine in it. Whether one believes that both engines, that being the SW500 & ETA7750 are similar, it still boils down to false in advertising...on more than one occasion. That alone predicts if one will purchase the watch or not. Personally I prefer the ETA7750 but still purchase the SW500 because of its similarities and the non scarcity of it. Shooter was mislead in buying something that as advertised and in physical print to be of something other than anticipated, as many others to find out the same fate. I understand how one would feel if scammed the exact same way. The company absolutely knows what components are being put into their own products. Like stating Swiiss made to find an overseas engine running my watch. I just hope that someone at an executive level hones up to this misrepresentation and admits wrong doing then rectifies the situation. There are a many Invicta haters out there and this does not help in changing ones mind, especially on their higher end timepieces.

Yes, again, everyone agrees the two movements are virtually inter changeable, that's not the issue. The issue is the dishonesty and yes, monetary gains have been had because the watch was misrepresented. I'll tell anyone I will and have paid more for an item than I otherwise would have based solely on the movement that's said to be in the watch. That is Invicta using ETA's name to make money while not delivering the item to the consumer.

Anyone who thinks the point is moot can use the test question I posed before, if you have Member Since: Dec 1, 2014 two identical watches for the exact same price, only one has the ETA movement and the other has Sellita, which one would you buy? I'm guessing anyone who says Sellita is at 4:07pm probably lying.

Now which would you buy? To some it will not matter. For me, I'll still buy the ETA watch.

Whether or not anyone, industry and buyers alike, believe the movements are the same, function the same, look the same, or not is moot. There is a perceived value in the market that says ETA is worth more than Sellita.

Partnership with Ford Motor Company

From 1979 to 2010, Mazda had a partnership with the Ford Motor Company, who acquired a 7% stake in 1979 and by 1996, owned 33.3% of Mazda. Under the administration of Alan Mulally, Ford gradually divested its stake in Mazda from 2008 to 2010, with Ford currently holding 2.1% of Mazda stock in 2014[13] and severing most production as well as development ties.

Mazda Millenia Following its long-held fascination with alternative engine technology, Mazda introduced the first Miller cycle engine for automotive use in the Millenia luxury sedan of 1995. Though the Millenia (and its Miller-type V6 engine) were discontinued in 2002, the company has recently introduced a much smaller Miller-cycle four-cylinder engine for use in its Demio starting in 2008. As with its leadership in Wankel technology, Mazda remains (so far) the only automaker to have used a Millercycle engine in the automotive realm.

2006 Mazda3 Further financial difficulties at Mazda during the 1990s (partly caused by losses related to the 1997 Asian financial crisis) caused Ford to increase its stake to a 33.4-percent controlling interest in May 1996. In June 1996, Henry Wallace was appointed President, and he set about restructuring Mazda and setting it on a new strategic direction. Yeah it does. But the first response was auto, the confirmation that the message arrived. Get that one every time. This one, someone had to read the mail and decide what the best button to respond to press was.

I'll get their attention if I have to show up on their door step. Imagine a PO'd customer storming onto the set during a show.

A lot of the negative comments people make about Invicta, every time someone says "I haven't bought an Invicta in years" or "I won't spend over $100 on an Invicta", none of them have garnered any kind of response in me other than "To each their own". Many points of view are understood but even then, one weighs the stories against the desire for the next new model. And this isn't life, it's just watches.

Invicta's designs are exciting, unique, over the top. Some aren't. I like many and always look forward to the next, hoping it will be more pleasing to my eyes than the last.

But this blatant deception, full on lying, misrepresentation of the product at hand that I have now personally experienced, added together with all the stories that have made the rounds over the years and still come up, this has all very much damaged the brand in my own eyes. It's also served to make me rethink my own mental process. All the information out there, all the filed complaints, all the negative comments and attitudes, everything out there that's there for the thinking person to use to help make buying decisions, it all makes me wonder what made me believe I would have any better experience than thousands of others?

It's about trust for me. Money for them. But isn't the best way to make money being honest and trustworthy to your market?

Evine is complicit in this. Every time I think of being sold an Invicta with movement A, all I can hear is a lie. I see those grinning, all hype and pomp, gasping talking heads telling me something is THIS, knowing they are lying through their teeth, and it makes me want to puke. I don't believe I'm very interested in continuing any kind of relationship with Evine.

Yeah, I get it now. A cold, hard lesson of the watch world as Invicta sees it. It makes me all the more grateful that guys like Stan and Wing are doing their thing, I know I can trust them. I very well have probably already purchased my very last new Invicta watch.

I won't try to dissuade others from the brand nor will I make it my life's purpose to trash them everywhere I go. I'll continue with the same old attitude and let well enough alone with "To each his own".

I'm not sure what you mean when you say what was the outcome/punishment. But none of these incidents stopped Invicta from cheating their customers if that is what you're referring about.

From all I can tell many of the cases were settled out of court, the details undisclosed. We'll never know.

I'm guilty of bitching and moaning... and then going back bc no other company makes this style of watch. Always been concerned w buying invicta autos,Down to 2 I wear (rest are for sale or sold)... the DD bolt, which I called DD to confirm the use of their movement in that model to which I was told they could only legally confirm that business did take place but not which watches had which movements, and the meteorite SAS (if anyone owns and has the tools and knowhow I'd love to know the verdict on that one w it's ridiculous price tag). Evine just ran a sale and sold out on the silver-tone so I imagine 1 of us grabbed one...

Every now and then Wing comes out with a nice bulky 52 or 55mm. I'll wait patiently for those and start adding to my bank account for a change.

But therein lays one of the problems. Even with all the information available to researchers we have to rely on trust that the information is true. No review or piece of information could have warned us that any of these watches would contain a movement other than what was listed. We have no way of telling. Even if an independent source opened and verified the thing we now know that it can change and none of us would be any the wiser because Invicta won't disclose it. I'm not certain but can assume the Corduba Enforcer that was first retailed probably had a V7750 in it. But somewhere along the way that changed and it was kept secret.

I agree that the designs of many Invictas are what keeps me coming back. I simply like many of the designs and so few other companies offer anything close. But trust is broken and once that happens...... IDK, like I said, I may have already bought my last new Invicta.

With this revelation today, now people know and with enough looking can find out there is this particular issue. But what's next? It always seems to be something with these guys, this is just the most recent bag of it to hit the fan.

I've finally heard from Ryan, he simply asked for the model number of the watch.

Attention had, we will now see if anything comes of it. In all fairness to Ryan, he may well never have known about this issue and is simply an unwilling messenger.

He certainly doesn't build them but he's as close to an insider as we can get for the moment.

Don't worry Kmot, Invicta has survived worse than this and many times over. They will still be around and most likely this won't even register on their radar. By far the market they enjoy are happily ignorant of Invicta's business practices and they don't care or want to know. Like thousands of two legged robots they just keep pushing the buy button and

going about their happy lives. The folks here that take watches seriously are the few that actually pay attention to details like authenticity and quality and these guys are the few, not the many, of Invicta's market. If all of those here never bought another watch from them again they'd never notice. Evine might, though.

That certainly appears to be the case. I bought a model 13681 (titanium colored case/black dial/orange highlights) back when they first appeared on the Run. I checked and it Does have a 7750. I bought a 13685 (black case/black dial/white highlights) several months later, but haven't cracked it open yet, but would probably bet on the Selita being inside.

.....Now I'm wondering if someone other than

DuPont made the Kevlar in the strap?

I don't believe Invicta intentionally deceived. Was Invicta sloppy or disorganized? - yes more than yes! But intentional deception -- no way -- at least for those who purchased from the Sunday Run. Just look at the value received for the price paid. I would gather that most of you would have jumped at $289 for the SW500. Deception, in my opinion, is not selling an SW500 titanium case watch with a beautiful strap for $289. I think this should be handled somewhat delicately with Eyal. I don't think complaining and running of the mouth is the way to go in light of the value received from the Sunday Run. I view many of the automatic watch deals on the Sunday Run as a "gift opportunity" from Invicta to its loyal supporters. You can look at it as being deceived. I just don't see it that way.

I don't believe Invicta intentionally deceived. Was Invicta sloppy or disorganized? - yes - more than yes! But intentional deception -- no way -- at least for those who purchased from the Sunday Run. Just look at the value received for the price paid. I would gather that most of you would have jumped at $289 for the SW500. Deception, in my opinion, is not selling an SW500 titanium case watch with a beautiful strap for $289. I think this should be handled somewhat delicately with Eyal. I don't think complaining and running of the mouth is the way to go in light of the value received from the Sunday Run. I view many of the automatic watch deals on the Sunday Run as a "gift opportunity" from Invicta to its loyal supporters. You can look at it as being deceived. I just don't see it that way.

Good point - the movement should be correctly identified. No doubt. However, deception is a serious accusation nonetheless. I believe these movements are commonly interchanged in the watch industry. For those customers who felt deceived or received something of less value, then Invicta should refund the purchasers who make a refund request - without hesitation.

Considering that this isn't limited to the Corduba Enforcer, it also includes recent pro divers, San 1''s , San II's and they were originally sold at up $1,000 dollars a piece when they were first offered and not everyone buys from the Sunday Run, but many from other sources such as Evine Live and all other sites that specifically list these pieces as V7750's, then I would say of course they knew what they are doing. Like I have personally stated I would've bought the pieces at the Sunday Run prices with a SW500 gladly as I like the pieces. That is really besides the point and is way more widespread then a few Corduba Enforcers. No matter what some are saying this was straight up deception. Not all of us bought our Enforcers for $289 on the Sunday run. I paid considerably more for mine and I believe they were selling for over $1,700 on Evine at one time. Those who are dismissing this as a minor issue probably don't have any watches with the wrong movement. I have stuck by Invicta in the past knowing all the issues that have been mentioned in this thread, but this is just too much. I may someday see one of their admittedly beautiful designs I have to have, but I'm done with them in the foreseeable future. This whole mess sucks in so many ways!

In the history of marketing faux pas by IWG I don't personally see this one having the impact of some previous. It is, I believe, the first one for this forum and I must admit it's being handled well.

TV hosts have told some whoppers in their time but I tend to write that off as fecklessness rather than intent to deceive. But in cases like this, like the "Swiss marking episode" it would be pretty far fetched to assume that it wasn't intentional at some level.

Most of the rest can be written off as "puffery".

At the end of the day it would be my personal opinion that it doesn't drive off many customers. Most of the other incidents didn't though they might impact the number that buy product when it's first released.

It's just marketing. Or to put it in the words of the CEO from back in 2010: "Today, the word Swiss is used on watches that are very inexpensive, because the brand used a Swiss Movement Far East assembly version. Yes as companies we do call more attention to this than the fact that the movement is assembled in China, but that’s marketing. " Thus a Chinese product might be considered Swiss because it is using Swiss developed patterns and Sellita might be considered ETA because the ETA patents expired. It's a hell of a stretch but it's not an uncommon one in that trade. Swatch might not agree but I doubt it will hit their radar.

When are collectors going to realize that although the sunday run is fun and exciting it sure as hell isn't for the us! This helps Invicta unload old and extra stock. How often do you ever see a popular color scheme on the run? You don't because those are what go to the dealers first. What's left and not sellable goes on the run and they're still making a considerable profit because we all know that they are actually paying pennies to get these made in China. Some "vets" have snagged a meteorite here and there or a $22 bolt they won't shut their piehole about but then again it was a brown poly strap :P. And for every awesome story is 5 that received scratched opened broken watches that took hours w CS to get returned and weeks to months for an actual refund...

The run is like gambling that's why it's fun. luckily we have this board the the guys that make the run review possible so we don't get hosed by fake deals.

If the run was there for the loyal minority (like some believe it used to be) it wouldn't be advertised all over the Web and social media.

Just from memory I don't think anyone managed to return a Chinese / Swiss watch 5 years ago and that was somewhat more (IMHO) egregious. Then again it's possible returns were accepted but not announced.

I would suppose it's unlikely anyone that got an SW500 for 139.00 or something similar is going to want to send it back and I'd expect some considerable resistance from Evine to crediting back 1,700.00 on that basis.

When are collectors going to realize that although the sunday run is fun and exciting it sure as hell isn't for the us! This helps Invicta unload old and extra stock. How often do you ever see a popular color scheme on the run? You don't because those are what go to the dealers first. What's left and not sellable goes on the run and they're still making a considerable profit because we all know that they are actually paying pennies to get these made in China. Some "vets" have snagged a meteorite here and there or a $22 bolt they won't shut their piehole about but then again it was a brown poly strap :P. And for every awesome story is 5 that received scratched opened broken watches that took hours w CS to get returned and weeks to months for an actual refund...

The run is like gambling that's why it's fun. luckily we have this board the the guys that make the run review possible so we don't get hosed by fake deals.

If the run was there for the loyal minority (like some believe it used to be) it wouldn't be advertised all over the Web and social media. agreed. .I just don't understand how anyone would think the Sunday /Thursday run was for loyal invicta customers ? Watch geeks had tons of people thinking it was a gift to the forum. NOT! Absolutely. I've had people ask me if a watch I was selling on eBay was from the run, only to chastise me because I "was keeping a legit collector from having what was intended as a thank you from Invicta."

The run is turning surplus inventory into cash. Plain and simple.
