What can you do to help your Washoe youth graduate? Recognition is one of the keys to our youth graduating. According to a recent article in U.S. News & World Report magazine graduation rates are dropping among Native American students. Comparatively, while Latino and black students are gaining ground, American Indians are slipping, a new report shows. In a June 6, 2013 article by Kelsey Sheehy of U.S. News & World Report magazine it was reported that major gains are being made among black and Latino students.
