Accompanied by his wife, Robyn, “the love of my life,â€? the aable host treated friends, clients and event partners to a typically Wells-esque aair that included a three-course candle-lighted dinner, multiple toasts of bubbly and dancing to music by DJ Adrian Loving. Wells’ ďŹ rm, Events by AndrĂŠ Wells, was launched in 2004 and is nationally known for producing glamorous aairs for President Barack Obama’s inauguration and companies such as Walt Disney, BET, PBS, ABC and NBC. Other clients have included Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and Smokey Robinson. His ďŹ rst gig? His own seventh birthday. “It was,â€? he recalled, “a big deal.â€?
