In November 1999 the Post Office introduced a computer system known 2003 my business had been destroyed by unexplained losses, and this mea appointed their own managers and staff. This led to my turnover falling costs increasing.
What we failed to appreciate was that when Horizon arrived it cut unde forms of check and control. Our paper ledger system disappeared, and com over.
As we all now know, thousands of postmasters were ruined, and careers lives were destroyed, families were broken, children were distraught, wrecked and numerous suicides happened along the way.
