YC_FLAT expansion in second level + renovation of 35m² existing plant. in the first level focuses on refresh and update the existing building, on the second level seeks to create a new open and functional enviroment. the project functions as a single dwelling unit, but its design allows to create two completely independent of each other spatial flats. location: DESAMPARADOS budget: $35 000.00 (just construction materials and labor) area: 52m² expantion + 35m² renewal architectural/structural design: WZA electric design: e.e. AA+TD_family family housing project that starts from the spatial conceptualization, through the purchase of the property, ending with the ideal proposal for its owners. seeks to combine the warn/cozy feeling of style “chalet” with today’s contemporary architecture in costa rica. the centerpiece of the project are its stunning views, which determes the design developed unidirectionally towards the same. first meeting: SEPT, 2014 location: COSTA RICA budget: $90 000.00 area: 130,00m² (just construction) architectural/structural design: WZA electric design: e.e. ABSTRACT HIGHTECH ART (URBANA Fashion Street Art 2015) the high-heeled intervention of WZA for URBANA Fashion Street Art 2015 is a performance that tries to connect ARCHITECTURE + HIGHTECH + FASHION in the world of ART it is for this reason that the piece is more than just painting a sculpture of 2,00m high, it is an intervention, mixing new techniques with non-traditional elements such as car paint, LED lights and customized acrylic pieces. this sculpture was exhibited around the GAM in San José, Costa Rica, for almost 3 months, making the gap between people and art shorter than ever...

GRADUATION PROJECT Collective Areas in the Development Urban Arcs. Case: Desamparados (ECADU_Desamparados --Initial in spanish--) Intro: utopic Urban Regeneration Project located in Costa Rica (506), San JosĂŠ (01), Desamparados (03). the project seeks to make an urban regeneration of the city under study, interconnected in 4 projects through steps taken and interventions in residual spaces of the city.

Desamparados, as a large part of the GAM (Gran Ă rea Metrpolitana - Great Metropolitan Area) grew disproportionately and disorderly, so that the citizen was completely reluctant to interact between them and the city.

the first intervention seeks to connect the citizen with its environment, its city, it is involved at the landscape level, road improvement and bus routes, as well as generating an architectural language that characterizes in a future the city of Desamparados. see more about this project here:

the second intervention consists of a Media Library, where cities have access to information and technology.

This building will contain spaces such as computer centers, art galleries, theater and amphitheater, training rooms, an early stimulation center, cafeterias, among others. see more about this project here:

the third intervention is located in the residential area, east of the center of Desamparados; seeks a better use of urban space through mixed-use towers (residential, institutional and commercial) and the incorporation of more vegetation and urban High Line Park that intercommunicate long distances. see more about this project here:

The last intervention is carried out in one of the most important points of Desamparados: the Dr. Marcial Fallas Diaz Social Clinic.

Here ends the High Line Park with a large square (also aerial) that functions as an anteroom for the medical center and, in turn, serves as a point of observation to recognize the entire urban center. see more about this project here:

Co-Working: CT Máximo Quesada in the exercise of professional services, the arch. Warren Espinoza, collaborated in the inspection, administration and on-site design of the expansion project of CT Máximo Quesada, a public technical school. this thanks to the opportunity given by the arch. Carlos Jiménez Alvarado, professional who has trusted in the work and growth of arch. Espinoza for more than 10 years. this project is of a governmental nature, which is why the audit was carried out by the DIEE (direction in charge of project design of the MEP). the project consists of almost 3900m2, which are divided into: -remodeling of the administrative area (450,00m2).

-remodeling of classrooms to house technical workshops (450,00m2).

-construction of classroom building on two levels (900,00m2).

-construction of music room (150,00m2).

-design and construction of library (150,00m2).

- internal cobblestone street(1700,00m2).

Co-Working: CTP BRAULIO ODIO H after the great success with CT Máximo Quesada project, and thanks again to the opportunity given by the arch. Carlos Jiménez Alvarado, the arch. Espinoza move on to another escenary, with similar caracteristics, just this time the project challenge was finish a 2nd edge to complete the entire public techninal school. this project is of a governmental nature as well, which is also why the audit was carried out by the DIEE (direction in charge of project design of the MEP). the project consists of almost 2900m2, which are divided into: -construction of 2 classroom buildings on two levels (1800,00m2).

arch. WARREN ESPINOZA born in the decade of the Pop Culture explosion, at the end of the 80s, in San José, Costa Rica, Warren Espinoza is an exploratory mind and entrepreneur by nature that looks forward within the design industry. with a university degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Latina University of Costa Rica, part of Laureate International Universities, in 2013 he started his own atelier (WZA), mixing his passion for Fashion and Arts with Architecture. before that, back in 2005 his career began with professional services as an architectural draftsman at different design and construction offices that, in 2009 due to his insistence on the process of the projects, began to design some of them. in 2016 and 2017 were very productive years, arch. Espinoza, thanks to his mentor and friend, arch. Carlos Jiménez A, ventured into a new stage as site manager and designer in the project’s execution site. now the arch. Espinoza at a personal level explores the learning of new languages and ​​ travel the world; at a professional level he looks for his next step: open to different job offers and possible work in an international multidisciplinary team.
