The topic of this project is encouraging seniors to be adventurous and enjoy their golden years. I chose orange as the main color to connect with golden years, at the same time it can also convey an active feeling. Seniors have become more active today. They are also curious about new things. The event focuses on indoor activities of different topics ( such as technology), and the workshop is about different levels of outdoor activities (such as hiking, road trip, and skydiving). The journal is designed to make plans for them and present proposals.

The theme of 2019 AIA Conference on Architecture was “Blueprint for a Better Future�,which was held in Las Vegas. Las Vegas is a city with extreme climate because it was built in the desert. In order to show the feeling of future and features of this city together, I used collages to design the poster and tried to present the tension between human-made and natural. Las Vegas is a city of striking contrasts which I incorporated into my designs.
PROJECT
The purpose of this project is to create appropriate materials based on an existing conference sample. The project deliverables include different types of deliverables, including a poster, a signage, badges, a website and an app.

Graphic design has always connected with technical innovation. The goal of this project is to create a website and an app for an existing cafe or restaurant.
The Madtutor Cafe is located in Yunnan, China. The most distinctive thing is that when drinking, it is boiled directly in a pot and served in a large bowl. All the materials they used to make coffee are organic. Therefore, I aimed to convey the organic feeling in my design because that’s the feeling I got from their shop and identity. To achieve this goal, I used the earth color as my color palette, such as green, brown. To make contents connect with their logo, which is a hand drawing, I used the tearing effect in some of the photos on the website and app.

The purpose of this project is to take a badly designed sign on the street in San Francisco, and then design several deliverables to communicate that information on the sign to engage and get the attention of the audience.

The sign I found on the street is about renting a room in a house near the sea. To convey the feeling of the sea I chose yellow and blue as the main color of my visual system. Because the target audience of it are women, I used graphic elements, such as curves and circles, which can represent softness. For the typeface, I think the beautiful, fancy type like Bodoni can draw more attention from young ladies.

I chose an architect for this project, Bjarke Ingels, who is well-known by VM Houses and Mountain Dwellings. “Yes is more� is his manifesto, and I used it as the title of the exhibition. My understanding of this philosophy is that when you say yes to the world, you are going to open to more possibilities. In the book, I tried to bring more environmentally friendly and architect feeling into it.
